Most
Americans use television as their top source for nutrition
information.
Of 700 adult Americans
surveyed, close to 75 percent used television first and foremost
to get their health information. Nearly 60 percent turned
to magazines (up 13 percent from 2000), and 13 percent used
the Internet. Not surprisingly, Internet usage to find health
information was most popular among those aged 25 to 34 years
and increased seven percent from 2000.
