| A
study conducted by the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation's
seafood and safety laboratory found that fish from Alaska contain
low levels of mercury and other metals including arsenic, cadmium,
chromium, lead, nickel and selenium.
Out of the fish tested, wild Alaska salmon had some of the
lowest levels of mercury.
In light of the findings, researchers are recommending unrestricted
consumption of Alaskan fish.
