It's not that drugs are absolutely unnecessary; as I have stated
before, drugs are on occasion a necessity. It is instead that, driven
by what has become a savage and deadly greed, drugs are catastrophically
over-promoted, over-prescribed, over-used and over-trusted in the
Western world.
Always remember this: it is very rare for any drug to improve your
health; rather they are nearly always a band-aid for your symptoms
... a patch that must be applied over and over for extended periods
or permanently, and is therefore in a sense addictive, and is therefore
incredibly profitable to the drug companies. Except for a little
thing called social concern, why would the drug companies possibly
want to cure the underlying health of people, since that would mean
taking away the need for repeated use of their mere treatments and
therefore their immense profits?
So to sum it up, if there were a total of ten notches, it's not
that the drug companies should be completely eliminated from the
post, but instead that they should be brought down about nine (maybe
nine-and-a-half) notches. So what is the one way you can most effectively
help this cause?

thousands of dollars to commit to marketing and advertising the
site and newsletter. I personally have made my living (good but
not extravagant by any means) from my clinic, not Mercola.com, and
the funds from the recommended products instead go back into maintaining
and expanding this site and the vision that drives it.
Instead, the free eHealthy News You Can Use newsletter has grown
to nearly 260,000 subscribers, and Mercola.com has grown into the
most visited natural health and wellness site on the Internet, primarily
through your word-of-mouth ... your voice.
It has grown through readers like you encouraging people you know
