Hi, Not sure how to reply to you, so using this method. You asked: Can you tell me which brand of bi-carb soda? Are there other supplements like magnesium that should be avoided when taking this? I am a protein type and do terribly on a vegetarian diet but I am sure I am very acidic as a result. Just curious if this would be beneficial. Reply: I don't know about mixing bi-carb and mag. To be cautious, I'd recommend taking bi-carb separately. We take just half a teaspoon before going to bed, or in the middle of the night. It is important to get the 'pure' stuff. Opti does not work because it is heated too many times to be effective. We have a distributor that basically put Opti out of business in France even by selling the crystals at a higher price.
