About Me

I am a retired busines owner, grandmother , I have three children and 6 grandchildren. I have been a vegan/vegetarian for many years, I have recently decided to add meat to my diet after several health issues. I live in New Jersey I live alone with my dog, cat, 3 finches and 4 chickens. I enjoy their fresh eggs. I have many interests, I enjoy volunteering with the elderly, I am a hospice volunteer. I make many knittied items for the poor especially during the hollidays.

Amen sister. My doctor cannot understand why I will not come in for a checkup. It's because last time I went in I almost was intimidated into having a stent put in my heart. He wanted to put me on Lipator even though my cholesterol was 160. Put me on rat poison (warfarin) and put me on beta blockers for blood pressure. Even though my BP was 115/65. I always tell people to educate themselves or doctors will run roughshod over them. I take krill oil, ubiquinol, astaxanthin and vitamin D3. I don't think this doctor can stand the fact that I am not contributing to big pharma profits. That seems to be the bottom line. I am glad to hear that you are on to them, too. Nice hearing from you.
