Don you said:

Taking vitamin D can create an increased demand for coenzyme Q10 just as it creates an increased demand for thyroxin. Similarly, taking iodine or thyroid supplements increases the demand for vitamin D as it increases your metabolic rate. So, be careful to ensure that iodine, thyroxin, COQ10, and vitamin D are all at optimal levels.

I take 10,000 IU of vitamin D3 and test out at 55 ng/mL, a level that indicates my body is not absorbing the vitamin D as it should.  I take CoQ10 (I think 100 mg), 500 mcg iodine in the form of kelp pills, but no thyroxin. Can you help me figure out how to "balance" those four nutrients?  If there are some links that would help please send them to BigBlue@cox.net

Thank you.  BigBlue (frequent visitor and commentator on Mercola.com)
