As a 15+ year sculler, and former runner, I have enjoyed your commentaries regarding exercise. I agree completely with your conclusions regarding core development as well as aerobic conditioning, and to that end, would be especially interested in any future research of the long term benefits of sculling (and rowing). Keep up all th great work.
Dr Mercola~
I am pregnant and I am not going to be getting the H1N1 vax. I am a healthy person and we are doing everything we can to prevent getting it right now, but just in case I were to contract it what are some things I can do to help my body fight it? Thank you.
Erin
Impressive! That was corrected in a flash!
Dr. Mercola,
You might want to add a "u" to "throgh" in your profile sentence, "I remain convinced that throgh coordinated efforts it will be possible to help educate and inform people so they can choose healthier options and radically reduce the amount of unnecessary premature deaths and needless pain and suffering."
Hi Dr. Mercola,
Thank you for all the good work and the fabulous info. This article is one of the best in a while, and greatly enhanced by the community. I was hoping you might do another similar one for thyroid disease. I know you have written about it before, but maybe not as comprehensively. I've been trying to find a "cure" for my husband's hypothyroidism- Graves ie caused by some form of auto-immune disease. I recently read about some Chinese doctors that could reverse the condition, but regrettably lost the info! Someone once posted that they got their hypothyroidism cured, I tried to get in touch with the person, but got no reply. Is there any chance you could have a look at this "disease" as I feel taking the medication, including Armour, I feel, is only addressing the symptom rather than the cause. I feel there are many other symptoms that can arise from this imbalance, and they can be different for different people. TCM views it as an imbalance between yin and yang of the Kidneys, which in Western terms can be translated as an imbalance in the adrenal-thyroid-pituitary axis. Still I am not closer to getting a fuller picture. I'm sure that diet and emotions play a part, as nothing we do is in isolation from our body/mind. Not to forget the viral/microbial possibility of causing thyroid disease. Maybe this is why the LDN is working for MS and the Antibiotics protocol for RA? I look forward to this article should it appear soon!
Thank you already
Kind regards,
Marianne
