About Me

Advanced in years but not old, just long-lived. A tad under 6' tall and proportionately built while, comparatively, still in excellent health. Now into my 25th year of retirement and enjoying the moment. Twice married having lost my first wife to BC after 45 years of togetherness. I would not describe myself as being an atheist nor an agnostic as I am decidedly anti-religious. I am convinced, however, of the spiritual aspect to life but religion has no part in it. I spent the greater part of my career in the people's professions and retired as the CEO of a government agency. Although always interested in diet as it affects health my main focus in this area arose from having to have a quadruple by-pass 1990 after being a vegetarian for the previous 18 years. Today, I suffer from the post-operative effect of this treatment and those too of earlier operations. Regretfully, and sadly, there were known substances on the market that could have prevented those operations but the physicians and surgeons chose not to relay this information. I also lost a 45 year old daughter to BC and a 16 year old granddaughter to an epileptic fit. In each of those cases and in my own case too, the initial diagnoses were wrong which delayed treatment and brought about more critical situations. I now avoid, where and when I can, allopathic medics.

    In reply to the emails from Mariehelm and Heather Marsh which I hadn't known were on my profile, may I offer my apologies for the delayed response. The reason I am occasionally absent from the site is due to taking a sabbatical but having said this I kept abreast of what was being published (other than emails); it was simply that I was too busy with other more pressing things in my life. Like the wind, I come and go! The avatar was simply me being a tad delinquent in my old age! You probably noticed that it is changed frequently but always with a current photo of myself, never one from some distant date. Thank you both for showing an interest in my contributions; I almost feel honoured by your attention! Robert

I tried to send you that info but it bounced. The error message said "it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 552 552 5.2.0 MDpT1e01411v1KD01DpTlg message size is too big (state 18).

I will try to send the info again in several emails. Please let me know if you do or do not recieve it today. (Monday)

Hi Duparc,

Thanks for your comments. I recently learned that the detergent enzyme I was sensitized to was GM and that GM enzymes have been used in laundry detergents since about 1984. I also recently found a study titel, the actual study was not available via the internet, so I sent away for it. The health effects of exposures to GM enzymes are very similar to GM feeding trial results in that they cause allergic reactions to other things, non allergic reactions and tissue damage. These GM enzymes have also been used in bread making for years, unbeknownst to any of us sheeple. No wonder gluten sensitivity is rampant! I have been trying to spread the word but am being doubted. We have all been exposed much more than we know. I am beginning to think GMOs are the cause of many illnesses, including my MCS. (Multiple Chemical Sensitivities) If you would like to see the study I referred to, just email me at poulin@xplornet.ca
