About Me
My hubby and I have been married for 52 yars. He lives with an aggressive prostatic cancer, I with stage five renal disease. Because I'm chemically injured and cannot tolerate drugs, I am handling kidney disease without drugs and without dialysis; he handles his disease with alternative care, plus standard hormonal treatments for his type of cancer. We both still fully enjoy life and living and our family and friends are extremely important to us.
I worked for a gov't agency that was highly scented and pesticided monthly, plus subjected to many other activities using highly volatile organic compounds. There I developed a really heavy case of Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (the disability that cannot say its name out loud). I took early retirement, made friends with many others whose lives had been ruined by fragrance products, pesticides, modern building materials and furnishings, and from there went on to research fragrances with Betty Bridges. She developed Fragrance Products Information Network and i developed and donated EHN's original site. Betty and I also developed the FDA petition for EHN that led to more information on the secret toxic ingredients of fragrances to become more widely known and available.
