Hi there.  I can try to share what we did.

I used Carlson's Vitamin K.  The reason I got the idea that vitamin K-MK4 is better than MK7 was from a study done where they improved bone density in people who had Osteoporosis.  You need to take a fair amount.  I think the study that I read about, used 45mg.  Most Vitamin K-MK4 is sold in mcg so you'll have to multiply (or find a converter/calculator online) to see how many to take.

You can find some helpful info on Vitamin K-MK4 here:

I used Dr Ron's grass-fed liver capsules.  I bought three bottles.  I took some along with my 13yo son and my 8yo daughter.  I think we took like 4 capsules 2X a day.  I used them until they were gone and then didn't have money to replace them.  We also bought half of a grass-fed beef.  I couldn't get my kids to eat the organ meats knowingly but I did manage to slip a tablespoon or two in whenever I made gravy, stew or anything with a thickened sauce.  I comtemplated putting it in the muffins I make but never could get organized enough to do it.  If I had it to do again, I'd put the raw liver in the food processor and grind it up.  Then, I'd stick it in ice cube trays and freeze it.  Once they're frozen I think you could pop them out into a freezer bag and store them that way.  Everytime you wanted to put them in sauce, gravy or bake with them, you could open the bag and pop one or two into whatever you were making...

I also used free range duck eggs in all my baking.  My kids don't care for the taste of them any other way but baking with them didn't bother them.  Free Range Chicken Eggs, Goose Eggs and Duck Eggs all have MK4 in them.

I used two different brands of Cod Liver Oil from Vitamin Cottage.  Solgar Norwegian Cod Liver Oil was one of the brands but I don't remember the name of the other off the top of my head.  I just looked for high amounts of vitamins A&D in the Cod Liver Oil.

I tried to use the High Vitamin Butter and Cod Liver Oil recommended on the Weston A. Price website but my family has issues with dairy so we couldn't use it.  If you do get some of that, which I'd recommend as the best idea if you don't have issues with dairy, the Cinnamon flavor is the best one.  The chocolate one tastes like ear wax.  lol

I used Country Life Target Mins Calcium and Magnesium Complex with Phosphorus.  You need a certain ratio of those three in order to use what you are getting.

I think the key to getting this stuff to work is taking the right amounts.  Our health care provider has a Biomeridan machine.  It works on the same principles as Acupuncture.  Dr Jean was able to tell us how much our bodies needed to take to be balanced.  She encourages us to "muscle test" in between appointments to fine tune things.  See what muscle testing is at this link: http://www.goodhealthinfo.net/herbalists/muscle_testing.htm

At every meal, we take Now brand Plant Enzymes and Nature's Way Ginger Root (my daughter and I can take it but not my 23yo daughter or 13yo son.  They take Metagest, instead of the ginger)  We take the plant enzymes and ginger when we eat.  If you struggle with digesting fats, you can add Lecithin.  If you take the ginger and then discover that your tummy feels warm or burning, drink a big glass of water and take less next time.

We used Now flavored brand Stevia instead of vanilla and cut the sugar in half or more whenever I baked anything sweet.

I'm having issues with receding gums, too.  I switched to IPSAB tooth powder.  My gums stop hurting about 2 weeks after switching to the tooth powder.  I rub Neem into my gums.  Neem seems to help with tartar build up.

I hope that helps.  If you have questions, feel free to ask and I'll try to answer, the best I can.
