About Me
I am a 68 year old female. I have Type 2 Diabetes and with diet and meds, my sugar levels are under control but not as low as I would like them to be at this stage. The numbers range from 96 to 133 during any given week of testing.
I am active with gardening, walking at least 2 to 3 miles daily and at least 50 sit ups 3 times a week. I eat about 85% organic foods while trying to make it 95% over the next few months and drink lots of water daily. I do not drink cows milk at this point but use soy milk in my coffee and on my cereal.
I am now taking advantage of being a lifetime member of Weight Watchers and am in the program to loose 15 pounds.
I find that since caring for my 98 year old mother and with her death 2 1/2 years ago, I have not felt motivated as I once was and keep thinking that I should be working outside the home.
