About Me

I am a retired biological dentist and coronary care nurse. I had a private holistic dental practice for 25 years where I treated the dental needs of chronically ill and health conscious individuals. I have been an advocate of healthy diet, exercise, natural stress reduction for my whole life. I believe that toxin removal is vital to health. Dentistry is often overlooked as a contributor to disease. Since retiring from private practice in 2003, I have co-founded two companies: OraMedica International LLC that is a company that helps educate consumers, health care practitioners, and wellness companies about the links of oral health to overall health. This company also helps health providers market their services to the public and other health providers for increased referrals. The second company, T-Horizons, LLC was formed to help people pay for alternative health services by providing information and access to Consumer Driven Health Care. High Deductible Health Insurance combined with Health Savings Accounts save money on premiums and allow tax deductible savings to pay for dental and alternative health such as chiropractic, naturopathic, acupuncture, and more. In addition to this, I have been an activist in politics to ban the use of mercury-amalgam. I have testified at FDA hearings, Philadelphia Department of Health, and have written and lectured extensively on the subject. I am married and have three environmentally conscious sons.

Second attempt to send as first one appeared to crash!

I liked your jigsaw puzzle analogy.  I'm an internet marketer, and before that, a business owner since 1981.  A friend coined my condition once in terms that we both thought were not only cute, but scarily accurate as well.  She said that we were "serial entrepreneurs".

I read books of all sorts, but the bulk of them are about self-improvement and entrepreneurial concepts.  The financially successful people are people who can think outside the box.

An authour who I especially like is Robert Kiyosaki.  When I first read his very popular book (Rich Dad, Poor Dad) I realized that he had a knack for taking what I already knew (aka pieces of my puzzle of knowledge) and laying them all out and then putting them back together in ways I never thought of.

There was not a single new 'piece' of information in his book that I didn't already know, but he was able to dismantle what I knew and then put it back together in different ways than I did, revealing that the biggest obstacle to people being wealthy or poor wasn't WHAT they knew, but HOW they THOUGHT about it, i.e. how they out the 'pieces' together.

Your comments struck me that way, and I just wanted to let you know that I liked them.

Thanks,

Kurt at GrossInternational.com

P.S. I see that you're a holistic dentist.  I wish I had one around here that I knew.  If you have any ideas on how to find one, what to look for, etc. I'd appreciate it.
