About Me

One viewpoint could describe me as a young woman who has been very blessed to have a mother who taught me that it is not okay to depend on medicine to make oneself a healthy being. Another viewpoint would say that I am an old soul, tired of being bombarded with media blather about how good these drugs are for you.

I believe in many things. As a young woman, I feel it is my right to get excited over what life has to offer me! (^_^) There are also many things I choose not to buy into as well. One thing I REFUSE to compromise on is my health. I do not believe it is okay to resign oneself in the knowledge that declining health is inevidable, or that it is written into my genetic makeup. Where is the hope in that? Surely things can't get better in that viewpoint. What I believe will help is this:

Empowerment only happens when one is willing to help oneself.

Knowledge about what I can do to keep myself healthy is SO much more powerful (and cheaper!) than spending hundreds of dollars at the pharmacy for a condition that is preventable. With a little time, care, excercise, and LOTS of veggies and love, even someone on the verge of death could become a happy and healthy person.

Thank You Dr. Mercola! It is doctors like you who will help us help ourselves into a brighter, happier, and certainly healthier future!
