About Me

I am a wife, mother of two grown children, and soon to be grandmother. I am a retired elementary school teacher. I currently teach part-time at a nature center which allows me to spend many hours outdoors in the balmy weather of the spring and fall. I am 5'5" tall and weigh 180 pounds. When I married, 36 years ago, I weighed 125 pounds. I would like to lose about 30 pounds if I could stick to an eating plan that is more healthy for me. My hobbies are painting with watercolors or acrylics and doing scrapbooking. I have a loving husband, an elderly father, a dog, and two cats living with me in our home.
