I have been 95% raw vegan for the last 7 years. During the first six months of the diet I felt a tingling sensation throughout. It was as if my body was repolarizing from negitive to positive. I went through a period of detox for nearly a year. You know this simply by observing your elimination. Prior to this diet I ate a somewhat vegetarian diet, though mostly thoroughly cooked. I didn’t know anything about enzymes, biophotons, or the raw food diet prior to reading Harvey Diamond, David Wolfe and Gabriel Cousens books. For me, one way to describe the raw “vegan” diet during the first six months is like thinking or assuming all of your life the dimmer switch over on the dinning room wall is turned up to max, then one day you go over and give it a turn and suddenly the room become about 10% brighter. It’s a bit of a surprise. Things become clearer. You begin to notice things you never noticed before – many regarding nature. Intuition seems to increase. It was amazing and still is, but now I’ve adjusted and it’s become the norm. I believe the “sunfood triangle” as described by David Wolfe in the book "The Sunfood Diet and Success System" has helped the most in guiding me to the best raw diet. This is where you strive to balance the chlorophyll, fats and sugars with a special emphasis on dark leafy greens. Dark leafy greens account for about 40% of my diet. It’s amazing how all life on this planet, with the exception of humans, know what diet is best for them and yet they have no diet books to read, no doctors to advise them and yet they seem to be free of heart disease, cancer, diabetes and obesity. If you go on the raw food diet, just remember, you’re joining the planet majority.
