About Me
My Mom was a medical and scientific illustrator for the CDC. In 1990, she was killed by prescription drugs for asthma (yes, she used them correctly, as prescribed). Since I majored in journalism in college, I turned my passion for writing and research into a quest to prevent that tragedy for recurring in my family. I now spend many hours each day reading about health topics and nutrtion and providing information to friends and family so they can make informed decisions about their own health challenges. I was the ghost writer for a medical doctor's book and also contracted to write a book about a blind man. I created 24 cartoon characters to teach children about health and good nutrition and exercise.
