I was a "change of life" baby, born to a 42 yr. old mother and 45 yr. old father. I have 6 siblings who are 12-21 yrs. older.
I have suffered from severe allergies since early childhood, though they went undiagnosed until I was over 21. I suffered Chronic Bronchitis/Bronchial Asthma all my life, which did not improve until I started taking a world-class glyconutrient product about 12 years ago, despite allergy shots and many drugs, including inhalers.
I was first diagnosed with Osteo Arthritis in my early 20s. In 1996, I stepped in a hole, hidden by grass, shattering my R Ankle and dislocating my Foot backwards. It was a Trimaellelor(sp?) Fracture, and I have had 5 surgeries on my Foot and Ankle, since then. My Foot and Ankle are both Fused, and I've been told, almost from the beginning, that I would need an Ankle Replacement in the future. I had Arthritis in the Foot before this major injury and had suffered a Stress Fracture in it several years before. On 5/12/10, I went in for a Full Pantalar Fusion, which would have involved putting a rod down the back of my heel, after more than a year of intractable pain, which lead to my ending up in a wheelchair.
The delay in receiving this sureery was due to my no longer having medical insurance. This Fusion was to Fuse my Foot and Ankle together. Imagine my surprise, when I woke up to find out that I had been walking on a Broken Foot for over a year. My OS (Orthopedic Surgeon), did a Bone Graft with a Plate, Large Staples and Screws. I am totally non-weight bearing for 9 weeks and was told not to even bump it; also that this hardware will stay in. Since the original injury, I have also had L Knee surgery and a Laminectomy (Low-Back surgery), both very successful and accacerbated bhaving to carry all my weight on that side following my Foot/Ankle surgeries. Now, I am desperately in need of a L Knee Replacement. Since my latest surgery it has gone from crunching to creaking. i received an injection in it during the surgery, so it did not hurt, but it is now wearing off.
I also have Over-Active Bladder, for which I take only a natural supplement, and it has made things more difficult during this recovery, as I normally have to go to the bathroom at a minimum of every 2 hours. I came out of my previous surgery with a severe tremor, which i have not been able to consult a Neurologist about due to my lack of insurance. I had had a very minor tremor for years and always thought it was a precursor to Parkinson's disease, which my mother and grandmother had both suffered from.
I had a Non-Union after my Foot fusion, in "08, and used a Bone Stimulator to promote healing. I am using it again after this surgery. And, fortunately I have had only tolerable pain, this time, because I have Multiple Drug Allergies, including almost all prescription pain killers.
I've had 3 Cataract related surgeries on my R eye, as well as Laser surgery on both eyes for Narrow Angle Glaucoma.
There have been numerous Foot surgeries in previous years, mostly in my 20s, as well as Carpal Tunnel surgery on both Hands and I had an Ovary removed, in my 20s due to my Bowel and Ovary being entwined. also R Shoulder surgery for a very large Bone Spur, caused from my pulling myself up into a semi truck for about 9 years.
I was taking 10 prescription drugs, when I started on the glyconutrients, but was able to reduce that down to 2.
