About Me

I am a post graduate in Genetics and Molecular Biology. My first job was working for Abbott diagnostics. I left this job, because I saw how it was primarily motivated by greed and not to promote health. I worked as a computer programmer for about 2 years designing websites (mostly for financial companies). I also became disillusioned with this, so I went travelling - to South America. In Brazil I found acai... everywhere! These guys love the stuff. My brother runs a juice bar and veggie restaurant in Brazil. Late one evening, we discussed the possibilities of importing acai to the UK. We would only bring the best we could get - And sell it cheaper than anyone else. Our aim was to get this to people because we believe that this is something that people need to hear about. Now, 3 years later we are still going. We still have the best acai that is available in Brazil. Popularity is growing slowly, but I am finding it frustrating trying to tell people that this is the best. People seem to go for over-hyped MLM companies or ready to consume drinks containing 2% acai. Acai is amazing. Not because it can cure cancer or make you loose weight or wash the dishes for you. It is a great fruit, it gives you very good energy - without any sugar! Try it. You won't regret it.
