About Me

I like to cook, which is a good thing from what I have seen on this site. I love learning: it is probably my favorite hobby, but lately I have been obsessed with food, especially bread and butter. Right now I am in college working toward my baccalaureate degree in engineering. I am interested in doing yoga and meditation, but I cannot seem to find the time or the energy to do it own my own, since the yoga I do is rather taxing. I recently learned that eating purely vegan caused me to feel sluggish, but I think that might be due to the enormous amounts of grain that I was eating in place of meat (~2 loaves a week + some cereal or sandwich during the day). My primary concern is my knees. About a year ago, my knees started hurting whenever I play basketball, sprint, and sometimes when I go up staircases. The only cause I can see for this is my jogging every morning for a few months before this pain, but when I jog I usually do not notice the pain. I got very sharp pains in my knees recently when I started taking karate and now I am searching for a way to fix my knees. The pain comes on an irregular basis, so I have not searched for professional help.
