Yes, the prescriptions did in a way protect me without tools for living. I just see street drugs as any drug. Laws do not really make one better or worse,as a drug is a drug, no matter how you label it. As you know, Coca Cola had Cocaine in it and was legal years back. So was morphine legal at one point so, they all have the same outcome in the end. It was just a way for some people to monopolize the profits. Doctors are legal drug pushers in my opinion. Yes, when feelings are changing for me, I now use cookie dough (sugar) more. But it is not the same effect, thank God. Lucky for you that you found the AA meetings sooner than I did. Good for you finding the program. Sounds like you are doing well.
