About Me

I am fairly new to the 40s, and in the process of becoming healthier than I have ever been. Though that sounds great, in reality, my health has been so poor my whole life, it's not such a huge leap.  But it still feels great.  Here are some things I've discovered:

It's better, both for mental and physical health, to accept your body for what it is.

There is a lot less "emotional eating" going on with obese people than they have been led to believe.

Eating nutrient-dense foods *really* makes a difference in your hunger response.

YOUR BODY CAN HEAL ITSELF!
