I am a birth researcher since 1998. I have studied medical information on child birth that is peer
reviewed and by published medical researchers. These researchers have shared the testable harm
to any child early umbilical cord clamped, which I agree this is true. The testable blood sample
will reveal medically-caused anemia which is fewer red cells to carry oxygen to all cells,
particularly, to the brain.
The data is most impressive that since 1801 ethical doctors have known the cause of weaker
children who were early cord tied. Today, children are umbilical cord clamped, within seconds
of their birth, when this should not be done for 10 or 15 minutes, according to the 1940 Anemia
Report of Dr. William F. Windle. The cord should not be early tied, until the placenta is birthed
and all pulsation ceased in the cord; and the cord should never be used for demonstration
purposes like being finger-thumb cord compressed. And this hasty cord clamping has been done
by policies and/or by the discretion of the birth aid. That recent years or at least since the 1930's
documentation was a fact that over 150 ccs of placenta blood was being sent to blood banks.
Today, the taking of deprived placenta blood is up to 250 ccs. Identified as one storage bank
receiving tissues, skin, muscle, brain membranes, blood vessels, bone, and possibly portions of
the whole blood, such as stem cells, is the National Naval Medical Center, at Bethesda, Md.
I advocate, as a birth researcher, a Commissioned Public Inquiry on using placenta blood
deprived the newborn citizen-child. It is sought by public and private blood banks, and cord
blood banks. This blood may be used, and often without true informed consent of both natural
parents, in science, research, transplants, drugs, cosmetics, genetic exploration, and selling of
various blood elements which include: plasma, white cells, red cells (in various forms of
development), platelets, hormones, and various enzymes.
All such elements of the blood or suspensions are important for the infant to receive them during the time period they are born and not to be clamped for 10 or 15 minutes, or until after the
placenta is birthed and all pulsation in the umbilical cord is ceased. The cord is then white,
silver, limp and not pulsating. Early cord clamping the cord is firm, red, and yet pulsating, or will
be again, if all revival is on the uncompressed umbilical cord. This is wise and will reduce
internal damage to organs, the brain, and the central nervous system. The child is a healthier
child (not anemic) and will be better able to compete fairly in all life choices and challenges or
by their means in a positive nurturing environment.
