About Me
I have been disabled by Multiple Chemical Sensitivities and CFS/ME since Nov/99. Now I am careful to avoid exposures including in my diet and I do failry well while at home. I eat mostly organic food and avoid all processed foods. I have no chemicals in my house and do most of my household cleaning with Borax, baking soda and vinegar. I use a can of coke to scrub the toilet and it works very well for that! I brush my teeth with baking soda, use baking powder for underarm deoderant and buy fragrance-free shampoo, conditioner and dish soap at the health food store. I have also been diagnosed with Candidas again and so am on a strict anti-candidas diet which consists of no grains including corn or rice, no dairy except for plain yogourt, and no fruits or sweets of any kind. I can eat all the meat, poultry, fish and veggies that I want. I am also taking Nystatin and probiotics for the Candidas and am finding some improvement in the severe left-sided weakness (Partial paralysis) I have been experienceing for the past few years. I am also using Detoxamin chelation suppositories and find they give me more energy while cleaning me up. Because toxins are stored in fat, as a bonus, I have also dropped 20 lbs on this diet and detoxing and I hope to lose about 45 more! I am a the Canadian Coordinator for MCS-Global and I try to spread the word about this illness and what can be done to prevent chemical injuries and to make life with MCS better.
