About Me
I am a recently disabled female army veteran who became entranced with dachshunds when I had to give up my horses. I love animals of every stripe (no pun intended) but now must confine myself to a couple of loving, independent canines who have me well trained! Add the occasional boarder from the local animal rescue group and things stay interesting around my house. I work at a residential school for disabled children-we work hard to try to give the residents a home-style experience while they are here. Although they cannot have animals here on campus, they love to look at all the pictures of the animal friends I've had over the years as well as photos of my time in the army.
