About Me
I average over 100 postgraduate CE credits per year in Biologic Dental Medicine and related topics. I am an academic, a PhD (formally associate professor at La Salle University, tenured, promoted, Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching), and I am a board-certified HHP. I also hold a certificate in Bau-Biologie. Our biologic dental practice is Meetinghouse Dental Care, in Hatboro PA. My husband, with whom I work, is Dr. Lou Trovato. He has been in practice since 1983. He is a DDS and a board-certified NMD. He holds 3 dental fellowships: FAGD, FAACP, FICOI, and is a member of multiple dental organizations. He is accredited by the IAOMT (AIAOMT), and he holds an IBDM (Integrated Biologic Dental Medicine). He publishes. teaches, lectures, and averages over 200 postgraduate CE credits each year, but he is committed to practicing biologic dentistry 3 days a week in our friendly, family-oriented, family-owned and operated general dental practice. We work closely with integrative health practictioners in PA and surrounding states for dental remediation. In addition to biologic dentistry, we offer basic nutrtional counseling through our nutritiontist for the impact that diet has on the health of the mouth (especially on oral and systemic pH). We also offer massage therapy through our licensed massage therapists for the therapeutic effects of massage (lymphatic drainage, moving of toxins and upregulating of blood and oxygen circulation, etc.) post-amalgam remediation.
