Mother of four now-grown children, has been nutrition oriented for most of lifetime. I have been using supplements for the last 40 years and believe it has proven worthwhiile. My weight has increased 12 to 15 pounds since the age of 25. I do no appear overweight but I am unhappy with the waistline increase. Five feet 3 inches (used to be 4 inches) and my waist if I suck it in is 35 inches. Would like to lose the belly fat. Despite fairly good diet, my urine Ph is generally 6.8 and I believe that has contributed to osteopenia. Very difficult to get it in the 7 range even tho' I eat vegetables and fruits. Would it be healthful to take daily sodium bicarbonate? (can't seem to find pottassium bicarbonate)
