About Me
I am a retired oil painter, I sew, I live at 10,000 feet in the Rocky Mountains. I grow my own vegetables. We are vegans & are very healthy. We have 4 dogs & two birds. Two Great Pyrneese, Nico 3 years & Jake, a rescue dog. We don't know how old he is. An Aussie 13 years & a Toy Pomeranian, 13 years. The birds are a Cockateel, Crackers & a Ring Neck Indian Parakeet, Indy. We do love our pets & they really keep the Bears & Mountain Lions away. They are very protective of my green house with my vegetable garden in it. We do need help with Jake. He's been through so much. He weighs 140 pounds. He weighed 106 when we got him. He's been beaten, spent a Denver winter tied to a tree with no food or water, survivied many huge sores on his back by his tail. About a foot lone & about 8 inches wide. Lots of tender loving washes & shaves have really got him on the mend. He has a huge lipoma on his side & a very round tumor under his tail. Any help with his diet would be soooo appreciated. Jake gives hugs & is a real love. He just has the most wonderful personality I have ever seen in a dog.
