About Me
I'm a quiet person. I tend to be sedentary. I don't always eat right. I eat cereal sometimes for two meals and one regular meal at work. (I recently quit the cereal thing after reading some of your materials.) I am not very social. I use to be more social than I am now (mostly at church). I am semi close to my sisters but my brothers are not social with me. I'm single, never been married. I recently volunteered at my church to register kids before they go to their worship time and classes during adult worship. It helps me to feel a part of what is happening there. I try to get invovled with groups at church but my work schedule gets in the way a lot, making it almost impossible to socialize. My main social life is with customers at work.
I'm looking for a bicycle to ride. It's hard to find one like the old girls bikes because the bar is higher on the newer bikes than the old one I was used to riding as a child. I'm 62 and need to get out of the house. I'm way too sesative to things going on around me. I am a sales person at Wal-Mart. I used to do office work. I think that was more appropriate for me because I am not a fast person. But, I get things done because I'm a steady worker. I'm not a fast typist but, by being steady at the plow so to speak, I was second in my office in production. I take pride in my work.
I own a beautiful cat now about 3 years old. She is my little girl, and I love having her. I obtained her because she was previously owned by my niece until she scratched the husband. They had a baby and a very active toddler as well (not a good situation with a skiddish cat). Baby is skidish about being handled. I sneak a hug from behind and then I let her go. Insead of running away now she calmly walks away. That's a big improvement. I still can't pick her up face to face. She is afraid of a persons head. If I lay down on the couch to watch TV she climbs up on my legs and falls asleep. When she wakes up she wants attention.
