About Me

Having practiced the healing arts since 1979, I include manual therapeutics such as deep tissue therapy and lymphatic skin rolling, as well as energetic modalities (Jin Shin Jyutsu--trained by Mary Iino Burmeister, founder of the practice and Institute, Eye Tracking Integratice Technique, and EFT).  I have also studied in depth Chinese Medical Theory, homeopathy, nutrition, herbology, and the Enneagram.

These therapeutic approaches are built upon a strong foundation of yoga practice and the creative arts, both visual arts and movement/dance, all of which have strengthened an intuitive sensing via touch which aids my work with clients.  Many years of study and practice of Eastern and Western philosophy and spiritual practice, dietary practices and general life-enhancing work also inform my own life and my client practice.

While altogether this may sound rather "earnest" and striving for perfection, my studies and life experience have granted me a healthy sense of humor about myself and this world we share, and I definitely see many paths for many people as valid and necessary.  This is what tends to create a very loyal clientele with whom I share a real "family practitioner" relationship, and has served me as well as them in an evolving heart-openness, which I trust is the real meaning of healing.
