About Me

I am a newly awakened wife and mother of four. It all started with the public school system insisting my son needed to be medicated for ADHD and finding out dietary changes could in fact do more good for him than a prescription.

I began my research, then picked up a book called "A Consumer's Dictionary of Food Additives" by Ruth Winters, M.S. I do like this book but it does not go into much detail for certain additives such as Aspartame other than being GRAS, Dr. Mercola's site, the documentary Sweet Misery, Youtube.com and Underground Wellness have been a blessing for more in depth information on this and many other horrible things most of us unknowingly ingest every day.

Having just the three children at the time and attempting to read labels while grocery shopping took more than a couple of hours, I realized how useless the center of the grocery store was very quickly and found there was better choices as long as we stayed away from the main isles.

The children have been doing better and I my family as a whole have been feeling much better now that we've taken an active knowledgeable part in our diet.
