About Me
I'm an RN, Health Educator who has worked "outside the box" within the alopathic medical establishment for 36 years. I personally practice healthy lifestyle behaviors and embrace all dimensions of wellness. I'm now part of a national network of RN's (RN Patient Advocates, PLLC), advocating, educating, guiding and empowering clients, using an integrative health approach (self-care, conventional medicine, complimentary modalities).
Components of the RN Patient Advocates process include: client assessment, HIPAA considerations, health literacy teaching, managing family dynamics, obtaining medical records and creating an evolving medical timeline, review of diagnostic work-up and exploring other pertinent modalities, review of medical treatment team and possible community collaboraton, research of treatment options (teaching and guiding client through decision making process), selection of the best health care team for facilitating tx plan, evaluation and discharge.
The ultimate goal as an RN Patient Advocate, within our national network (RN Patient Advocates, PLLC), is to create a new model for U.S. health care delivery.
