Solution: Move to the country ( or island, preffered), have enough land to harvest your own crops and raise some good livestock (breed some cows, breed some chicken, maybe a pig for a pet, a horse or two, a couple of dogs and cats).

Doing so will improve your endeavor to a MSG-Free life, no tainted meat, cats will be in charge of the rodent extermination (without using any harmful chemicals), the dogs will be your security and best friend, the horses will provide transportation- courtesy of the anti-smog coalition

Make sure to include or grow your ingredients for natural and organic pesticides.... found here: wiwi.essortment.com/homemadeorgani_renu.htm

---Unfortunately, not everyone wants to do this. It's to easy but not good enough, to try and avoid, opposed to actually completly avoiding... The same goes for all the big business thieves, money hungry oilers, and the coruption in our government. Why doesn't anyone do anything about it? Why don't we boycott? Why don't we take action and either give the food comapanies (and all the other companies that royally screw us, whether it be from our pockets or our health) an ultimatum or put them out of business?

Answer: Because it takes too much time in doing so. Too much money is involved. -Yes, money has power over everyone. Maybe, when we all realize that ourselves and earth are more powerful and important than money, is when the mainstream poisoning and greed will stop...

It will happen one day... you watch...

Knowing that they put this chemical in not only processed foods, but also spray it on organic produce really irks me. WHAT THE HEC ARE WE SUPPOSED TO EAT?

MSG triggers my "Silent Migraines" really bad, and I am so frustrated with trying to find foods that do not contain this additive. After reading the alias names for MSG I have realized that even my so called, "Organic" foods have this toxin in them. Brown Rice Syrup....Come on!!!!!!!? Perhaps, I will have to resort to living off of this organic vegetable broth I know of that's free of MSG, and this Papaya juice I really like that is also free of the toxin. I do not even enjoy food anymore. It has become my Mortal Enemy. I wish there was something we could do to make these food additives disappear from our food supply, but I guess we cannot fight the FDA no matter what we do. This is just so sad.

I am very happuy to see that you finally did an article on msg, which only kills brain cells. Add that to the mercury fillings and we have a great recipe for ad.

And I have to say that I was very shocked after yesterday's and today's articles on MSG. In fact, I started looking at all the labels of the food I had in my house and threw some stuff out.

But today I decided to look at the MSGMyth.com site that Dr. Mercola mentioned, to see the list of all the other forms of MSG, but I couldn't get the site to come up. So I Googled MSG Myth and found the following ENLIGHTENING article instead. It's called "If MSG is so bad for you, why doesn't everyone in Asia have a headache?"

I strongly recommend you read it!

observer.guardian.co.uk/.../0,,1522368,00.html

One of the things I found out is that our bodies naturally produce about 40 grams of glutamate every day. And that mother's milk (yeah, the human kind) contains 10 times more glutamate than cow's milk. And that practically every natural food contains glutamate. Parmesan cheese is absolutely loaded with it!

It's a great history lesson too - covering the invention of MSG through the tests it has been put through, to the health scares, to modern use and the renaming of it to avoid the well-established, yet false social stigma attached to it.

For my part, I think Dr. Blaylock had it wrong. And to assign the term "toxin" to such a natural substance is way out in left field. Aspartame, no problem. It's synthetic and artificial, so I can easily buy that it's an excitotoxin.

But glutamate?

Yeah, it looks like it could kill brain cells if you consumed half your body weight in it for a month. You know, kinda like the rodent studies on saccharine back in the 50's. But as far as OVERstimulation until cell death goes - you know, much like the state that meth addicts live in - there is simply not enough evidence to support it.
