To effect change in government, the system that the people operate within must be known and understood, and, just as in THE MATRIX, it is not known. The people have no idea just who and what "their" government is presuming them to be, in order to operate the way they are. Educate yourself and find out what REALLY has occured in this country, and discover the remedies that are available. Do a search for a book called "The Red Amendment" and read it. Then we can leave our children a REAL republic instead of tyranny, deception, and bondage. Also check suijuris.net There is much that can be done.

As far as i know, the government cannot tell us what we can or cannot put into our bodies. If we never have to go to see a doctor, then drugs cannot be prescribed. Dr. M is showing us how to take control of ourselves. We choose what we eat or, more importantly, what not to eat. Getting and keeping our insides clean is an important aspect of staying healthy, too. Dr. M is one of my heroes but Jack La Lanne is my idol. www.jacklalanne.com

See what I mean, we have no freedom. Everything is controled by big corporations, now you have not the right to take a vitamin pill, unless the government or should I say Big Pharma gives a green light.

We who feel otherwise need to write to our Congress people and try to change things. More people become ill, and or die from government approved prescription garbage, than have or will be ill or even die from suppliments. And the government regulates this market why? By 2010 Big Pharma has vowed that everyone in the world will regularly consume some form of prescription drugs. Seems they are well on the the way to making this a true dream.

As bad as all of this is, I think a lot of the public are becoming self-educated.Remember, you don't have to take any drug. They still can't force them down your throat. I have a friend who has leaky gut. Her doctor gave her an acid blocker and Tylenol. She came home, threw the drugs away and went to her nutritionist for help. The nutritionist is using elimination and rotation diets, is doing more digestive function testing, including looking for parasites (which the doctor says doesn't exist in anything other than third world countries), and my friend is now on aloe vera, fish oils, a supplement that is anti-inflammatory (mostly spice based), glutamine and a probiotic. She told me that she only uses her doctor for testing and for a diagnosis to rule out serious disease. She doesn't ever take any of the drugs her doctor wants to put her on.

Does anyone know an easy way to find out how my congressman voted? I tried the website listed above, and it is a bit unwieldy. I am finding out that it's not easy to navigate this whole thing, which is probably part of the diabolical plan! How do I find out?!!! Ron Klein, District 22.

This is extremely depressing news. I did write my congressman on several occasions. I know that many real doctors have expressed their concerns, as well as many intelligent and fervent consumers. I think the writer that said that money speaks louder is correct. I'm not sure what can be done, other than vote in another batch of, I'm afraid, more of the same, but with a different face. What we really need is a revolution/rebellion, like they do in Europe. Where are the marches in the streets? Where is the public outcry? We suffer in silence, mostly. I say, we should all write a letter to the editors of our local newpapers and out the congressmen that sold US out! The Government is sadly, no longer out friend, however, we are still the government of the people. so come on, people, do SOMETHING, ANYTHING! Let's revolt!

is there anything we can do about the FDA, the things I read on this site are infuriating and as person who writes to her congressman every 5 seconds, I want to start hollering to stop the FDA or take control, we need to make votes, input, something . . . is there ANYthing we can do?

I expect there will be great wringing of hands and gnashing of teeth over this news, and rightly so, since 99% of the Senate and all but 16 members of the House sold us out for Pharma money. (Go to http://www.congress.org to see how your representatives voted on HR 2900).

But there are tens of thousands - possibly hundreds of thousands - of U.S. subscribers to this site. I have to ask, what have you done since last April to stop this legislation? How many times did you contact your senators over S. 1082? Or write or phone your representatives about HR 1561? Did you ask them to acccept Ron Paul's bill, HR 676, Health Care for All? If you answered No to the above, you have no right to complain.

If I sound a little testy, it's because I'm pretty discouraged. I have been doing all of the above, fighting for months to protect health freedom. But I feel like a lone voice. There is power in numbers. We proved that when we forced Congress to pass DSHEA in 1994. We could have done it again if all our voices had been raised. Where were you?

Does the government plan to destroy itself by killing all of its constituents? Who then will it govern? We are in a sad state of affairs as a country when no one in power seems to have a conscience. Officials would outlaw the "uncontrolled" use of supplements but would virtually shove the pharmaceuticals down the American's throat. We need to see more Americans educated about health and informed about politics so that a true democracy can be enjoyed in this country.

This will be litigated in the courts, make book on that. It will be appealed all the way to the Roberts' Supreme Court,also a sure bet.

Big Pharma will lose in the US Supreme Court...that is assured, based on the FACTS and precedent law.
