I think, it is what we offer mankind that counts. Age is but a number and life here on earth is but a vapor. The difference we make in each life is what determines how happy and fulfilled we ultimately are, thereby, aging gracefully in knowing, that we are of meaninful and edifying benefit to each other. This is one of the reasons why I enjoy meeting so many of you as you offer your feed back in such varied and informative ways.

Blessings to all

I don't see a great deal of relevance in the beginning essay, as she is still quite young and can give no evidence of longevity, yet.

Of the seven factors of walking and stretching, bilingualism, resveratrol, high altitude living, winning a Nobel prize, a supportive spouse, and good friends, I would have to vote for having good friends.

The healing energy that develops and grows among groups of true friends is astounding. I can say from experience, that being in the company of those whom I love and who, I know love me, is one of the most freeing and healing experiences one can have. It isn't one of taking energy for one's own purposes, but one of bringing what substance one has to the group, to bring one's own love into the circle of ones' friends. That is true living.

The only thing that can top that is, if one can expand that influence to larger groups of people.

re: Seven Factors Proven to Lengthen Your Life

OK, I have not won a Nobel, or J.
