Somebody has to pay the piper. Debt is death. Small point, perhaps, but I am certain many Canadians feel the same way. Often travelled through Montana, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Salt Lake then on to Nevada and Arizona, Hit San Diego then north. Not a big spender, however, budget for said trips was considerable. Excellent business for proprietors along the way. U.S.A is a beautiful country. Considerated us 'kindred souls'. No more! You are totally isolated. Sad, from this perspective.

In the UK freedoms are now being eroded by what is becoming a "Big Brother" state.

Only this last week, the police are going to be given powers to take your DNA even if they catch you dropping sweet paper on the pavement/sidewalk..........because the theory behind this is.........that you are a criminal doing such a thing and could well be a criminal of the future.

Your DNA will then be stored by the European Union; Brussels........an organisation that is trying to create a Federal European Big Brother state that will override the UK in just about everyway imaginable.

Political Correctness appears to be rife in the UK, as generic citizens are supposed to encourage and welcome the most undesirable people from any other country in the world.

Did you Americans know.........that the United Kingdom was and still is the home for some of the most dangerous people in the world; welcomed by New Labour and speered on by the last Prime Minister. Even 9/11, it is reported now, was partly planned in the UK.

The British are now steadily losing their national identity as Eastern Europeans flood into the country as crime increases proportionally.

The new Prime Minister's government now wants the release of five dangerou terrorist suspects currently held in Guantanamo Bay; most of them are not British citizens yet they will be welcomed to stay in the UK.

New Labour have again, recently lost three "tagged", terrorists who were allowed to report to local police stations but on this occasion decided to abscond abroad,still missing and only because they are given Human Rights.

Believe it or not........in the UK even the worlds most dangerous terrorist would, it seems, be given Human Rights and alllowed to live in the UK on state benefits, free housing and allowed to preach Treason in the Streets whle the police look the other way...........Abu Hamza being a prime example, now in prison, but it is reported contesting his imprisonment.

When I read the posts, I began to look at the "negative points". I see that the majority of you posting should be PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN OR LIVING IN AMERICA. If you lived in Cuba, Venezuela, Iran or China... just to name a few you'd be shot, jailed or have all of you assets seized.

Thank God for our military and our law makers.

MAYBE YOU COMPLAINERS NEED TO BE ON DRUGS... CHILL OUT... RELAX... QUIT COMPLAINING ABOUT OUR INFRINGEMENT ON FREEDOM. BE PATIENT, THE LINES TO REMOVE TERRORIST THREATS ARE WORTH IT. OF COURSE THERE WILL BE MISTAKES. State your compliants and errors will be corrected.

How can we change the things that are happening? How do we stop the destruction of 3rd world countries as described in the book Confessions of an Econonmic Hitman? How do we bring to justice the leaders of the world for their crimes against the world? How do we stop what is in motion? I am aware of most of what is being said here. I have written to congressman and senators and have received the thank you for your comment form letters but this has changed nothing. What can I do to make things right?

After viewing the clip and reading some of the comments, I offer the following:

1) Does Dr. Mercola have the right to air his opinions on his own website? Absolutely. And we can thank countless Americans who have paid a high price to guarantee this freedom.

2) Does it make good business sense to air such opinions on a site dedicated to another subject? Hardly. Just listen to those who said they won't come back. However, it is one sure way to get heard - at least once.

3) Did this contrived video clip offer any reasonable solutions? Not a single one. Turning us all into victims has often been used as a means to draw sympathy to a cause. But as a wise man once said, "It doesn't help to tear something down if you can't first replace it with something better."

4) Has this administration gone too far in the attempt to protect our liberties? Probably. And some of us will end up paying for this new reality down the road.

5) Did we initiate this war? No - despite what others have said about CIA aggressions, Islamic extremists hate us for our decadence and our arrogance - which is real enough. They are sincerely after world domination and we kid ourselves if we think they will stop at anything less.

6) Do we need a forum to air political opinions in this country? Yes, Yes, Yes! But we would all be better off to drop the empty, angry rhetoric and stick to the facts.

I wonder why no one talks about one of the most astonishing things George W. did in his first term in office, well before 9/11 -- specifically that he changed the law about how many years government executive records must be sealed. Instead of the government's records being sealed for say 25 or 50 years, Bush decreed that his government's records can never be made public. That's right, NEVER. Doesn't that make you wonder why? Way back then, well before 9/11? What exactly did they need so badly to hide???

Good luck citizens of the USA, you're in for a very swift, very ugly downhill plunge in quality of life. But likely, as the frog who boils to death in a pot of slowly heating water, you'll probably never realize what's happened until it's too late. That's what they're banking on anyway.

For those of you outraged by finding this information on this website, please consider.... You have nearly every medium covered for hashing out your side of this situation. Those who oppose our government do not have the telescreen (ahem..... are we still calling it the TV?) or any major radio stations to share our views. We have been completely silenced through these forms of media because the masterminds.... ahem... government.... own these forms of communication. Look into the fact that FOX News is the biggest contributer to the Bush admin. This should be ALARMING!!! And, when you quote the jargoning implanted in our citizens via the news to argue your point, it is hard for us to listen because we see you as being 'duped'. Please, if you don't agree, that's quite alright. How would anyone learn anything if they never heard opposing views? (Oh, yeah... the telescreen... hmmmm...) But, for the love of this country, please back off and let us speak through the only media we have left. (Did you know the US gov't is working out a plan to control the internet? Maybe 1000 channels.... like cable tv.... VERY SCARY... consider.... why would they do this?))

I am just about to cancel Dr. Mercola's newsletter and stop ordering products from him. I've been a loyal customer for years but don't want to support his leftist political newsletter with my hard earned money. I grew up in a communist country and lived all over the world (including 2 years in Pakistan). My opinions have been formed by my own experience and not by propaganda of any kind.
