After the First World War, all the major chemical concerns were merged into a single gigantic trust in 1926 - the I.G. Farbenindustrie A.G. - under the leadership of Carl Duisberg and Carl Bosch. Dyestuffs, pharmaceuticals, photographic supplies, explosives, and a myriad of other products poured forth in ever-growing volume and variety.

Soon after the election of July, 1932, in which the *** had doubled their vote, Heinrich Buetefisch [chief of the I.G. Farben - Leuna plant] and Heinrich Gattineau [a Farben official who was also an SA officer and personally known to both Rudolf Hess and Ernst Roehm]. waited upon the Fuehrer-to-be to learn whether Farben could count on governmental support for its synthetic gasoline program in the event the *** should attain power. Hitler readily agreed that Farben should be given the necessary support to warrant expansion of the Leuna plant.

After the seizure of power, Farben lost no time following up this auspicious introduction. Significantly, Farben's chosen channel was not the ‘Heeresleitung’ but Hermann Goering's new Air Ministry. In a long letter to Goering's deputy Erhard Milch, Carl Krauch of Farben outlined a "four-year plan" for the expansion of synthetic fuel output. Thereupon, Milch called in Generalleutnant von Vollard Bockelberg, Chief of the Army Ordnance Office, and it was agreed that the Army and the Air Ministry would together sponsor the Krauch project. A few months later Farben received a formal Reich contract calling for the enlargement of Leuna so that production would reach three hundred thousand tons per year by 1937, with Farben's sales guaranteed for ten years - until June 30, 1944 - on a cost-plus basis

The Nuremberg War Criminal Tribunal convicted 24 IG Farben board members and executives on the basis of mass murder, slavery and other crimes against humanity. The Nuremberg Tribunal dissolved the IG Farben into Bayer, Hoechst, and BASF.

Today each of the three daughters of the IG Farben is 20 times bigger than IG Farben was at its height in 1944, the last year of the Second World War.

BAYER is the SOURCE of Honeybee COLONY COLLAPSE DISORDER.

I did a Scientific, and Google websearch on Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD). Cell phones had nothing to do with it, nor did GMOs. I discovered that this disorder had occurred in Europe before the USA and that research published in 2003 showed that a new class of insecticides and specifically a Bayer product called imidacloprid, trade-name Gaucho was found to cause this disorder. When France banned this insecticide, CCD disappeared, and their bees thrived.

Imidacloprid takes at least 30 minutes to be absorbed enough to cause a toxic effect in bees. Italian researchers found that bees fed a sweet solution with a "subclinical" dose (not enough to kill) would return to the hive, disgorge this nectar, and be fine. So in their next study, they trained bees to use the feeder, and then captured 30 control bees and kept them in a cage for an hour. Then they replaced the feeder with 100,500, and 1000 ppb of imidacloprid. They were able to get 30 bees with the lowest dose, but the higher amounts proved repellent--one of the factors seen in CCD is no other bees want that colony's honey. They only got 10 and 20 bees for the higher doses.

After 60 minutes, the controls flew right out of the cage and were soon seen back at the hive and feeder. It took 10 minutes for the last 100 ppb bee to leave the cage, but most were found at the hive and feeder within a day. (They managed to mark individual bees so they could detect this!). It took 45 and 75 minutes for the last bees to leave in the higher doses and they seemed disoriented. The were often seen to tumble into the grass. And none were ever seen again.

So the source of Colony Collapse Disorder IS known and WAS known before America's disastrous losses. I hope a REALLY good class action lawyer sues Bayer for every penny of loss suffered by our beekeepers AND farmers and that this destroys Bayer forever.

The results from a new study published last week in the New England Journal of Medicine:

"Total spending on pharmaceutical promotion grew from $11.4 billion in 1996 to $29.9 billion in 2005. Although during that time spending on direct-to-consumer advertising increased by 330%, it made up only 14% of total promotional expenditures in 2005. Direct-to-consumer campaigns generally begin within a year after the approval of a product by the FDA. In the context of regulatory changes requiring legal review before issuing letters, the number of letters sent by the FDA to pharmaceutical manufacturers regarding violations of drug-advertising regulations fell from 142 in 1997 to only 21 in 2006."

Based on the multitude of information that I've received during the last ten years or so, I don't find the information about Bayer's practices to be very surprising. However, I wouldn't want to single them out in particular because evidence shows that all of the drug companies are involved in similar practices. And their practices are totally non-partisan. All drug companies have no problem bribing politicians of all political stripes, and do so regularly to help ensure that their interests are not only protected, but actively promoted. In fact numbers (in dollars) contributed to congressmen of both major parties by drug companies were recently published, and little, if any, outrage was expressed by the mainstream media. Most of the contributions to individual congressmen were in six figures! I guess that too should not be surprising, because, in fact, it's been business as usual for many decades. Most of us are only becoming more aware of the ugly truth with the advent of internet. So while there may well be no reason to discredit the source of this information, however selective or narrow or seemingly propaganda-like its focus may be, it must also be recognized that this is an immense problem which is not isolated to either Bayer or Bush. And failure to recognize this fact in the face of so much evidence in recent years certainly reveals another kind of naivity, which sadly, is quite prevalent still.

Perhaps the problem we face here is not any specific corporation,.. but rather the phenomenon referred to as a corporation. ... As the documentary entitled; "THE CORPORATION", explains quite well,... the character of the modern corporation today is that of a "sociopath". .. It perfectly fits the diagnostic characteristics given in the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual), which is used in the field of psychiatry to diagnose mental illness.

Ultimately, it is we the people who are to blame here. We are the stock holders who these corporate machines are so focused on feeding with ever growing dividends, .. at any cost. ............. and this is to the extent that these corporate machines will even take control of our government and work to destroy our freedom, in their quest to expand the wealth and power that they have amassed at both the stock holders financial gain and their loss of freedom and well being at the same time.

I don't use bayer or any other drugs for that matter.

I like Andrea Dinovo's idea about spreading the word. The problem I have is that this site seems to have too many religious undertones and direct references, especially in reference to Christianity. It's nice that you (general) may be religious and all, including Dr. Mercola, but being healthy should be everyone's goal, regardless of religion. I would have a difficult time recommending my friends this site because of the way some people have a "holier than thou" attitude, and criticize people of other religions, such as Muslims (by calling them terrorists) or Pagans. While I like the articles where Dr. Mercola presents SCIENTIFIC information, I don't like the constant subtle and not so subtle references to Christianity giving the impression that people of other religions or of no religion are less important than Christians. This, coupled with people's negative attitudes, make me not want to invite anyone here.

I agree with Baggy and others; this video is poorly done, unsubstantiated "facts," and using it to bash Prez. Bush, makes it a hard sell. (How about Hillary #2 in campaign contributions from drug mfg. www.corpwatch 7-12-06?)

Come on Tor23q, Islam is totally pre-Islamic moon god worship (see their flags) and Christian holidays ARE, sadly, immersed in sun god worship traditions, but you will not find those taught in the Bible. Replacement for aspirin, try Herbogesic (Genestra Brands), and/or hydrotherapy (Home Remedies, Agatha Thrash, M.D and Calvin Thrash, M.D) but they are a little labor intensive, so people opt for the short-term quick-fix, and those living alone may have little help to turn to. I had a long, difficult road with rheumatoid arthritis and numerous other health problems, but my (Christian) Naturopathic physician guided me to a level of wellness that few would know I had these problems: hair analysis for heavy metal poisoning, removal of amalgams (made very noticeable improvement) and root canals, parasite, bacteria, thyroid problem (Hashimotos), systemic candida overgrowth (thanks to my brownies and coffee mochas), extremely low levels of beneficial flora, leaky gut, familial, life-long allergies (that's all I can recall right now :) )
