I have begun a new business selling Water from Air products. The reasons I got involved with this business is because of the water scarcity, the increased contaminants to our waters, and because I wanted to have access to water without storing bottled water. Water vapor is condensed and purified, so that it does not get polluted with the fluoride, nor exposed to the ground contaminants-pesticides, fertilizers, prescription drugs, animal waste, etc. For those interested in a water alternative, look into this technology. I would like to know more about pi water. Dr. Mercola, do you have any thoughts on this?

What about this new technology - getting drinking water from the atmosphere. They are claiming pH of 7. The brand name is "XZIEX" . More info here: waterpurenetwork.com/faq.html

I think the Aquasana product line is worth strong consideration, particularly their AQ-4000 series. They have countertop, under the counter, shower, and whole house configurations. I'm hard pressed to find anything negative about their products which carry a California Department of Health Certificate. After reading the thread here, I just now submitted an email to Aquasana asking how their filtration handles fluoride. The list of other chemicals and contaminants they filter are eye popping and are well documented. Both the aquasana (sitemap) and cleanwatergeeks dot com websites have ample information and mirror a lot of the comments here.

I have looked into buying an ionizing water filtration system but found the cost to be out of reach. I have a counter top Brita filter and use CoralCal sachets to ionize the water. Just checked ph and it is between 6.5 and 7. Not sure how effective the filter is for removing unwanted chemicals. My first visit to this site and enjoyed the comments. I will definitely look for a glass storage jar, instead of the plastic.

Is there a healthy, safe, and inexpensive way of adding minerals and changing the PH of distilled water so that it is healthy to drink? If so, can anyone recommend the products to do this?

My family moves a lot, therefore I would love to find a way to maintain the same type of 'safe' drinking water and not have to wonder whether my filter isn't getting everything out of the tap water. I have a distiller, but I'm now learning that this isn't the best thing to drink... I need something that is easy to use and easy to take with us every time we move.

What type of reverse osmosis filter should you buy to install in your home? And where could you buy one? We have been buying jugs of spring water from the grocery store. I don't prefer buying them because I heard that it takes 5 gallons of water to produce 1 gallon and I know this isn't best for the environment or my families health, but what is the best filter to buy? Thank you!

I highly recommend the DVD interview with the Christopher Bryson, author of The Fluoride Deception, which provides a great synopsis of his book. He equates fluoride "science" with tobacco, asbestos, and leaded gasoline--all frauds that were at one time sold to the public for the purposes of corporate gain or "national security" while the real truth was buried. The fluoridation of the water supplies simply defies logic. More people are deficient in magnesium than could ever be of fluoride, yet, you don't see the government suggesting adding magnesium to our water. Why should everyone be forced to be medicated? Why should people who don't even have teeth be forced to ingest flouride? The best thing that one do for the health of their teeth, or their entire health, is to enjoy good nutrition.

I've enjoyed reading other's comments on their drinking water. I always assumed I was getting the best drinking water by using R/O which I purchase locally for 30 cents a gallon.

If people would like to add their support to a list of over 600 international professionals (doctors, dentists, environmental scientists, Nobel Prize winners, Doctors of Chemistry etc) then can do so through through http://www.fluoridealert.org If you are a professional yourself you might perhaps consider signing the professional's statement.

Upon signing, a letter will automatically be e-mailed to your local Congress Representatives asking for an end to fluoridation AND a Congressional Hearing on the matter. A Hearing would force the ADA, CDC and other fluoridation proponents out into the open to testify under oath on issues relating to fluoride and fluoridation.

The first paragraph of the letter is standardised, but you are free to add text to suit your particular situation / perspective.

600 professionals might not sound like a lot. But the ADA and CDC will only be able to bring forward professionals whose careers or reputations depend on endorsing fluoridation. And most of them will be from either dentistry or public health. As the professional's international, multi-disciplinary list grows, any list the proponents concoct will look more and more insular and laden with vested interests.

I remember the debate about fluoridation of water supplies from when i was a child in the 1960s. The Internet, fax, PACS, and extensive telephone connections of the modern world have improved our access to influence politicos who regulate us and exempt themselves from the same rules and laws we are supposed to abide by. Illinois is one of the major world producers of raw fluorite. Chicago has had fluoridated water since i can remember.

Many of you may not remember the movie "Dr. Strangelove, or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb".

Sterling Hayden as General Jack D. Ripper is consistently worried about fluoridation of the water supply poisoning Americans and, of course, him. He goes mad with fear that the Communists are trying to pollute his "precious bodily fluids" with fluoridated water! His obsession with keeping his bodily fluids pure is a linchpin of the story, and used to show him as a non-progressive, non-scientific madman. It's a good movie to rent and watch for many other reasons, too. An apocalyptic paranoid dark comedy - Excerpt:

"General Jack D. Ripper: Mandrake, do you realize that in addition to fluoridating water, why, there are studies underway to fluoridate salt, flour, fruit juices, soup, sugar, milk... ice cream. Ice cream, Mandrake, children's ice cream.

This characterization perversely helped to popularize fluoridation, as Ripper represented all that was wrong with "the estasblishment". .

I haven't used fluoride in tooth paste for probably close to 20 years. Have only had 2 cavities in my life thus far also. My children have never and will never take fluoride supplements! I cannot believe that Dr's prescribe it period! It is pure poison!
