My grandfather brushed his teeth (and flossed) three times a day with salt and baking soda. Never had a tooth ache or cavity in his entire life, and he died when he was 95.

Let's see, we'v got tainted toothpaste, poison in kid's clothes, seafood raised in sewage...all from China.

I've spoken with a few refugess who came from China. They, along with other 'dissidents' who didn't agree with the communist party, were thrown into laogai (labor camps) and made products for Europe and the U.S. - with NO pay. What has made it to the news is lightweight compared with what really goes on there.

The Human Rights torch is making its way around the world, calling for a boycott of the 2008 Olympics. There are many parallels between the nazi Olympics in 1936 and what's going on in Beijing right now.

Not only because just about everything that comes out of there is almost certain to be tainted with something harmful, and not only because everything that comes out of there is almost certain to be unsafe or otherwise defective, and it's not only because Komrade Billary sold us all down the Yellow River in exchange for kampaign kontributions in exchange for granting the kommies Most Favored Nation trade status, but for the more important reason that all this trade revenue allows them to build up & modernize their Peoples Liberation Army so they can hope to be successful in their planned WAR AGAINST US!!! WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!

And this war has already begun -- the battlefield just isn't conventional, YET... Chinese hackers are constantly breaking into & data-mining our defense contractor & some unsecured military networks, and other critical & semi-critical networks such as transportation & infrastructure, much of which goes largely undetected -- they're THAT GOOD at it. It's part of what's called Netcentric Warfare, exploring ways to cripple or shut down critical logistic support, in addition to our use of cyber data to conduct often-complex fast-moving operations.

AND they have WMDs along with both espionage-stolen (courtesy also of Komrade Billary) and foolishly-exported missile technology, some even from our own companies' use of their missile launches to place satellites in orbit "cheaply". Typical scenario: The missile, containing classified technology, fails to launch properly, crashes or falls over or whatever, and by the time our people get to it the secret parts or mechanisms have 'mysteriously' disappeared. And that's just one reported example, this goes on all the time, and we're so stupid we keep falling for it.

DON'T BUY MADE IN CHINA!!

If you buy Chinese products, open them and return them as defective or contaminated.

If we all buy 20 each time we go to Walmart and return them, think of the costs to Wally.

If it costs more than real products, they will change.

Had bought new underwear at local large drug store, you guess which one, discovered they are laden with the SOURCE of the INFECTION. Will bring in unused sample for Diseases and Infection doctor. I had been buying this underwear for the last several months when I bought new underwear!

Strongylus monospinigerum An unidentified organism, which is infesting more and more homes across the country. This particular creature apparently houses itself in lint-like fibers which it seems to weave into a tiny ball, like a nest or cocoon, and contacting human skin via floors or clothing, bores into human tissue to take up residence in the body. (Regular laundering with hot water and detergent apparently do nothing to kill the organism in clothing). Once in the body the following symptoms result:

- Open itchy lesions on the skin appear (from tiny holes to many millimeters in length)

- Intestinal discomfort begins or slight anal discomfort

- Straight red lines (track marks) just under the skin are sometimes seen

- A "crawling" sensation is repeatedly felt on the skin and scalp, although nothing is visible to the naked eye

- Fatigue and lowered resistance to disease develops over time

- Localized muscle pains occur

- Sharp, painful tinges in tissue are felt

- Blood (reddish brown) spots can be seen which over time move from deep tissue areas to the surface of the skin.

Again, putting down our responsibility to ourselves and asking someone else to pick it up--like we have been lulled into doing for some time, is hazardous. Read a label of toothpaste from here--and you will see that if a child, or anyone ingests more than the amt on a toothbrush(whatever that is) call the poison control center. POISON. I have not used a commercial toothpaste for years. I make my own powder or use some like Ecodent.

This whole newsletter is about re-claiming our power, our responsibility to ourselves and our families. The FDA IS supporting corporate interests...period, with an occasional subterfuge disguised as concern.

The FDA cannot or will not regulate what comes into this country, yet they are overly concerned as to whether or not I put a vitamin pill in my mouth. Undercover ways of restricting my use of dietary supplements, and lying to me by telling me it is for my own good. Sound very much like an "Oxymoron" to me.

This is what we as Americans deserve. We ignored this nut in the White House when he endorsed the "Military Commissions Act." We again ignored things when he began wiretapping, not just some but all Americans. Believe me when we allow this kind of thing to happen, no matter for what reason, it puts all our freedoms at risk. We remained silent, and as time goes on we the American people end up the loosers. So continue smelling after Gweneth Paltrow, and Russell Crow, and continue to ignore what your government is doing, Nazi germany will appear as a bump in the road. Small things now, but what about later?

I've been brushing my teeth with baking soda and/or sea salt, along with hydrogen peroxide solution, for 15 or 20 years. I switched from toothpaste when periodontal disease went rampant in my mouth. The combination helped control the gum disease without abrading my teeth, so you can use baking soda without fear of harming your teeth. I far prefer the salt/baking soda taste to any sweet pastes or powders.

As for foreign imports, whether from China or elsewhere, JUST SAY NO! Buy as locally as possible and demand American made goods where you shop. Tell them up front that you would like to buy this or that item, but it's made in China (or wherever) and you'll wait until they carry one made in the USA. Be prepared to pay more, because that's the price of a living wage for workers, as opposed to sweatshop wages. The extra you spend will come back to you in the form of a healthier local economy.

I thing that we the people should push to have a law passed that forces the manufacturers to say on the product where is is made so we the people can decide if we want to buy it or not. I personally am trying to keep away from products made in China, I do not trust the manufacturers, profit over safety.

I alternate brushing my teeth with Dr. Bronner's soap or with plain baking soda. Each day I also drink a small amount of baking soda dissolved in water, a la Dr. Susan Lark, because I couldn't get my body sufficiently alkaline through diet alone. Does anyone know whether baking soda left on the teeth harms the teeth. I usually drink the baking soda in water in the middle of the night to not interfere with digestion.

This will make you go: "Ewwww!" I've been brushing my teeth with Ivory soap for two years. My teeth always feel slick and clean. As long as you don't let the soap drip to the back part of your tongue, you can't taste anything bad. It certainly doesn't taste as bad as salt and baking soda, and it's not as abrasive. I wouldn't try it with deodorant soaps or scented soaps! Neem soap would work, but I don't have a convenient source of it.

China adds the toxins to make more and cheaper products, Wal-Mart markets them cheaply and bountifully. Even if our government agencies aren't paying attention, Wal-Mart is. They don't care, though, about the product or it's safety. They just wanna make a buck. The Walton family members are now rated #2, #3, #4 and #5 richest people in the world. Any more questions?
