The internet is an encyclopaedia for me. I also use it for business with a couple of websites in use.

Some years ago I got into Internet networking; an atttempt to make money online with currently 21 different websites.

The great news is that all of the networking sites are still online; the bad news is that I haven't made one penny in ten years networking, because all of those experts who made money online and then sold their ideas; made the money in the first place.

I was told that only 5 percent of online networkers actually make any money the rest do not.

As for business, a fantastic advertising idea, but no way to make lots of money, except for a few sites I believe sellig that something that no one else it selling.

The downside of internet selling is that it is a great leveller of prices; the consumer taking the cheapest price with most internet businesses; in my opinion, making little profit indeed.

But as for a learning experience and entertainment, it cannot be beaten.

Marvellous technology, which I believe; flying the flag was originally invented by an Englishman.

It has made me much more productive by way of helping educate me on many things.

If you wish not to spend more time on the net, then just do the opposite of me GET YOURSELF A FAST CONNECTION!

I find I am feeding my brain when on the computer, however one thing always leads to another. My intention is to spend a short bit of time, but I always inadvertently get sidetracked into more links. Therefore other things get neglected. As was said, BALANCE is the key. Isn't that the key to everything in life???

Yeah I am more productive since I can look up health topics here so I am way healthier now. If you don't have your health productivity is much lower. :)

The efficiency benefit are clear in non commuting alon, however I tend to believe BALANCE is required with you taking several breaks and walks during an electronic work session.

There is a TRAP, of working too many hours also, when on the internet.

Yes!

Save a tree. By reading the news on-line, there is no need for a news paper. Also, I can be selective of the media viewed. Not to mention there is no need for paper when writing to friends and family.

Save on the gas I use . Including shipping, most of the items I purchase on the web are less expensive than if I would have gone to the local book store or mall.

Educational. http://www.time4learning.com/ Time4Learning provides my daughter with an interactive curriculum for homeschool at a low monthly price. It is a very useful resource.

The internet is a very useful tool if used with wisdom. : )
