From the research I've done I've found that there is only one way to remove ALL impurities from water. Fluoride is very difficult to remove but a Reverse Osmosis system does remove most of it. What it doesn't do is remove all the other contaminants such as prescription drugs found in our water supply.

We have used a Reverse Osmosis(RO) system since 1985 and continue to have it serviced yearly but now use mostly distilled water for drinking that we make ourselves and store in 5 gallon glass jugs. We bought an expensive water distilling machine in 1996 after I read several articles in Science News about the nasties found in most municipal water systems. Currently we are back to using our RO temporarily because our distiller needs some repairs.

Never store distilled water in anything other than glass. The water is slightly acidic and will become tainted with the plastics. Also when using distilled water it is a good idea to use some ionic mineral drops in the water before you drink it. A few drops of lemon juice in each glass will also help alkalize the water in your body.

Most corporations do have a social conscience, unfortunately not all. The ones that don't also seem to have and inordinate amount of power and control-in this country particularly. Look at the drug companies and the seed producers such as Monsanto. Capitalism is good, but there are too many bad capitalists.

In reviewing some of the above comments I find a lot of USA bashing. I've been all over the world and WE are the best country with the BEST people in the world. Those of you who want to bash our system should go live in Venezuela or Iran for a year and come back and kiss the ground when the airplane lands!!

So what type of water does everyone else drink?

I usually drink distilled bottled water. My only concern is that the newly distilled water is dumped into the plastic jugs while still hot; therefore, increasing the rapidity of migration of contaminants from the plastic into the water.

I just looked up the prill beads and I have to say that the product is appears to be more of a scam than anything else. Here are just some quick quotes from the webpage.

I am sorry, but although I believe fully in auras (auric energy) and I know people who can see auras, I do not for one moment believe that the auric energy produced by this product...if it even does have a non-dead blue auric energy, can actually de-cluster water to "virtually single molecules" or "neutralize" chlorine and "most contaminants." Whatever the author truly means by "most contaminants." I agree that everything in this universe vibrates at a certain frequency and most objects and beings have an auric emanation, but I do not for one moment believe that this product does anything positive for the water it is placed in. Plus, I want evidence of your claims.

I use a Britta Filter to Filter tap water, I then put the water into a one gallon glass jug, with some prill beads in the glass jug and I can draw off one litre per hour. You can get the beads from www.thewolfeclinic.com/prillbeads.html . My specialist had them tested in a lab and the results came back as pure water. The water tastes good too.

I live in China, and I find this story amazng for a different reason. You heard about it.

Ten years ago, all of this was supressed and the journalists who reported it werer jailed. Now they are jailing the people responsible. I truly believe China is trying to clean up its act. But don't forget, they learned the "put profits first" mantra from the best inthe world.... us.

A far cry from the central politburo full court press spin on internal Chinese airwaves that "Everything Is Fine For Made In China"...

Do we in the west have as many overt poisoning problems, it depends on how you count the bodies. We tend to remain in a reactive protocol on food or beverage poisoning until the law suits and body count is too high to ignore and our poisonous are FDA/USDA (aka the US Congress - both House & Senate) allowed or certified (HFCS).

Hey, what a country, the chicken will be plump and fat with gmo corn, before we kill it.

I must say there is an ironic justice in the Draconian sentencing to death, and carrying out the sentence, for Chinese government regulators on the take in China, versus the USA.
