Since he's an intelligent person, one may be sure that he and his supportive wife investigated everything to do with the disease. A former FDA doctor wrote a book years ago about what he found out about aspartame (can get from Amazon.com) "Neurotoxins - the Taste that Kills" - you can find the book by its title (can't recall the name of the dr.) It's well worth its modest cost for the information.

(Look it up...) They come from fertilized embryos--that's why they're called *embryonic* stem cells, not *fetal* stem cells. They generally come from fertility clinics where many eggs are harvested from a woman's ovaries and fertilized in a petri dish; some are then implanted and the rest are frozen and stored or THROWN AWAY (particularly if the woman succeeds in getting pregnant and 'doesn't need' the rest.) To get stem cells, the fertilized embryos are allowed to divide a couple of times and then they are separated and the process is halted. The dilemma comes from whether you believe that conception happens when the egg is fertilized (or, for instance, whether implantation in the womb is a critical factor as well.) Meanwhile thousands of fertilized eggs (embryos) are thrown away every year. But nobody talks about that...

Fox is not the only person from Family Ties to develop Parkinson's Disease. Several members of cast and crew also developed it. At one time there was some type of investigation to find a common link between all of them getting it, because the odds were unusual for that many people to get the same disease that all worked together, since the disease is not contagious. Does anyone remember this being in the media way back when? The news disappeared as fast as it came up, with no answers as to the common link. Any thoughts?

Parkinson's Outbreak On The Set Of Michael J. Fox's TV Debut 27 March 2002 (WENN)

Parkinson's Disease experts are investigating a 1970s Canadian TV series after four members of the cast and crew - including Michael J. Fox - were found to have the illness. Fox was just 16 when he starred in comedy Leo and Me. And now he, a writer, a cameraman and director Don Williams all suffer from Parkinson's Disease - which attacks the nervous system. Williams admits, "The percentage of people involved is quite amazing to me." Experts fear the disease might have been environmentally caused by toxins or a virus linked to influenza. Pacific Parkinson's Research Center expert Donald Calne says, "This is one in 20,000. It's not a coincidence." This article was on Wikepedia & at imdb.com/.../news

My dad is retired now and we lost my mom to cancer 5 years ago. Shortly after mom passed, my dad got tested and was found to be diabetic. He took control over his health and started eating better and exercising. But he was nearing the end of his factory work of 35 years and he was too tired to care to cook for himself and went downhill. Now that he has time to cook (and I try to encourage him to do so), he still eats out a lot and heats up soup from a can and eats corndogs. I hate to think what his health will be like in 10 years if he stays on this track. I will be the one taking care of him, when he can't take care of himself.

I am a chiropractor and see hundreds of people everyday in our office here in Colorado who have had their spinal degeneration halted and even reversed through cutting edge chiropractic and specific rehabilitation.

Thus bringing to an end their struggle with medical butchers who want to cut them open and fuse their spines in hope of stopping among other things, their degenerative disc disease. Yes this includes the "straightening out" of scoliosis as well.

If you or anyone you love is thinking of going on Parkinson's meds, please go to www.pdrecovery.org, download the free book, "Once Upon a Pill," and read it FIRST. This acupuncturist knows more about the meds than all 4 neurologists i've dealt with put together.

Three weeks on the pills is all it takes for brain damage to occur. Recommended withdrawal period is 23 months.

Ask your doctor to cite one drug study that wasn't funded by a drug company. None of mine could. Decide whether you need a medical ethicist to figure out the problems with that.

Parkinson's is tough. You have to be tougher. EFT helps.
