The breakthrough betavoltaic power cells are an alternative energy technology

re: Imagine Your Laptop Running for 30 Years -- On a Single Charge

Just like the electric car, the government isn't going to allow anything to interfere with Big Oil profits or natural gas either, for that matter.... or Healthcare.... or it's drug cartel... etc., etc..

Once a PC is working OK, then I am a great believer in leaving it alone and not adding the next system to upgrade it.

One typical example for me.......Windows ME.....a nightmare....a disaster......a system that did not work at all.......that is until after ignoring so called experts who warned me off XP; updated to XP; wonderful, reliable and it works.

Now as for Vista...........no way, not until the gremlins have all gone.j

If a PC/Laptop does the job that you want it to do and you are happy, leave it alone, tread carefully before upgrading and don't upgrade because everyone else does.
