A beautiful version of a beautiful song. How can anyone be offended by an inspired version of Stand By Me? Taking the time to enjoy and love is much easier than the time spent to hate and condemn.

I've always liked this song, but I was extremely disappointed that this is being misused to plug the ugly policies that are actually harming us all, but especially the people that need to be stood up with. Still waiting for this bailout money to trickle down. So far, every penny has been carefully engineered to miss the problems that plague this country, while giving the opposite impression that "something" is being done through these commercials. I've written to my "elected servants" with no intelligible response, but they are telling me how hard they are workin' to "do something". If only beautiful music could inspire the government to do the work that needs to be done.

I absolutely love this. What a beautiful way of people coming together. You see, you can never stop the creativity spirit and soul in people. I especially loved seeing the man in the square, the way he was holding his child. It was really beautiful.

This was sent for me as a message from God saying it's all ok. My premature granddaughter died last night, and just two years ago my 25 year old daughter died. At her service my pastor sang a bit of this song. It's not the perfection of the music that is what matters here - it's the message that the whole world knows and loves this song, we're all the same people everywhere, with the same need - to stand by God. So beautiful.
