I live in Australia and many people have suffered with Swine flu this winter. My husband and other people I know personally got Swine flu and it can be a very dibilitating illness.

Although no one I know died. Most have taken from 3 to 4 weeks to feel normal again. You will spend about one week feeling tired and wondering why, then it will hit you full on in the second week. Your body will be so sore and exhausted that you cannot get out of bed. Symptoms seem to be different for everyone. The next week you can generally return to work, but please can I forwarn you, if you do not rest for at least another 2 weeks, this flu just doesnt go away. Your immune system will be so weak that you will catch anything going around. It seems that those people with underlying illnessess are worst affected and some have died, but not many. I would say that for the majority of us in Oz it was just one of the worst cases of influenza they have ever had.

Tamiflu comes in a tablet form for adults. It is also available in fruit flavoured liquid form for children who are one year old or above. Those adults who find it difficult to swallow tablets can take liquid form.

Adults can take Tamiflu tablets in the strength of 75mg and for children, dosage of 12mg/ml flavoured oral suspension is ideal.

You can take <a href="www.onlineclinic.co.uk/.../a> medication with or without food. However, if you take this influenza medication with light food, it rules out any possibility of upsetting your stomach.

I have not done flu vaccines since I got extremely sick after the 1976 one. I've only had a light case of flu in all these years - and I was working in hopsitals and for doctors for several of those years (dangerous atmosphere). So, once again, I'm avoiding the "panic". Looks to me like there's a mental panic spreading that is more dangerous than the flu - and the media keep telling us to be "very afraid" - of everything, not just flu! Let's all live in FEAR according to the media! Example: a gal was nabbed & raped in Denver recently and some woman being interviewed by a news reporter advised that women "just stay in" - during dayilght hours! Give me a break! I am not letting fear run my life! Not fear of rape, terrorists, the economy, health care reform, or the flu!

Speaking of viruses, there seems to be a "-2" and a "-3" virus going around in here ... tons of those "ratings", even for positive or innocuous comments. Odd, eh?

I am curious to hear from anyone about swine flu and pregnancy. There is a lot of hype in the media about pregnant woman suffering severe effects from the swine flu. I am wondering if Mercola has any insight on this.

They confirmed the swine in our schools and I am sick, think i might have it. What should i do? I have an engagement party saturday with 70 people coming and guests starting to arrive tonight?? I have been taking colloidal silver, oscillium, gelsenium, vit c. I have FMS and Mitral vavle which worries me alittle.

We 've been told how to prevent swine flu, what shoud we do if we actually do catch it? Or someone close to us. I guess even then we shouldn't take Tamiflu... anything we should do? I think this needs addressing as numbers are still rising.

In 1976, I was working for the Federal Government in HI. I can attest to the fact that all Federal workers were mandated to be vaccinated for Swine flu. My health has always been excellent; yet, i got flu symptoms that put me out of work for 3 days. I also had a low-grade fever for months, until we took a trip to South America. The vaccines mandated for that trip wiped out the low-grade fever. One of our co-workers died from the vaccine. Several others complained for months about residual symptoms from this vaccine. Not a single person I knew came down with the actual Swine flu. I have never taken another flu shot nor had the flu since. Dr. C. J. Sing

It would be nice to take a walk in the sunshine if it wasn't for all those "CHEMTRAILS in the SKY!!!! " Does anyone have any idea what a "CHEMTRAIL" is???? It is most certainly NOT a CONTRAIL!!!! Contrails disappear Chemtrails spread!!! Between the GM Foods ( which is why myself and my family, including our pets eat organic), the crap thats in the water (which is why myself and my family, including our pets drink Mountain Spring Water), and the air we breath (The Ingredients of a Chemtrail are down below, along with the medical repercussions), one can only wonder why people are getting ill at an alarming rate!!!!! I think that it's ridiculous that people actually believe everything they see on the news. We are told that the swine flu is contagious and that we should stay away from pigs, but then told that it's OK to eat them. I also find it ridiculous that the swine flu has nothing to do with swine and people actually believe it; like the bird flu had nothing to do with birds.

I was one of those who were "voluntold" to be vaccinated during the 1976 Swine Flu. Only the young military guys with security qualifications got the vaccination. Was sick for days afterward. No explanation ever given.

I loved this article. However, the spread of the Swine Flu appears to have reached it's peak and is declining, which could be the result of (sometimes ridiculous) containment measures set into place. I hope this is over soon, so the world can at least appear to be smarter than we collectively are.
