I've been drinking raw milk for about two years now, after switching from organic unhomogenised milk to rice milk, then to raw milk, and I have never felt better. I also eat raw eggs in my protein drink after workoust, with raw milk, chia seeds etc. i have been eating raw eggs for decades and it has never made me sick. Raw milk has never made me sick, and I beleive it has done me better than pasteurized/organic milk had ever done.

Of course raw milk has bad bacteria in it, but it has never been an issue for me. The raw milk I get is from a local small farm from grassfed healthy cows.

I love Bill Maher. He is always right on the money in my opinion. Brandee, you might want to try to be more open minded to those you do not like just because they lean to the left. Forget the left and or right and listen more to your heart with some added common sense. In other words...wake up and smell the taost...I think it's burning.

Funny, refreshing, and to the point. This video clip is fantastic, and is a wake up call to all, in a funny sort of way.

Nutrition has taken a nosedive over the past 25 years, and so has the healthcare of this nation. Quality Nutritional Supplements are vital for the health and well-being of everyone in this nation. I've just recently learned that Japan has a supplement friendly Government which allows for health claims to be made without the threat of being classified as "drugs". FOSHU, or "Foods for Specified Health Use". In this country, foods that are found to be beneficial for health conditions are classified as unapproved drugs, and the FDA has the power and authority to shut down those companies for making claims of health benefits. When are we going to get a clue? We need similar legislation to FOSHU here in this country. DSHEA (Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994) has been deteriorating over the past 13 years. HR 2117, introduced by Dr. Ron Paul in Congress, disarms the FDA and FTC, making it legal to state truthful health claims about supplements and foods. Contact your Congressman to get it passed.

To the person recommending the Not-Milk website. Sorry, but in the milk letter the recommendation is to drink soy milk instead is just bad advise. Most of the statistics used were based on pasturized milk NOT RAW, there's a big difference. And I've always loved Mr. Rogers, however in the article on this site refering to his show in which he demonstrated to children that eating products made from soy was better for them, sadly, he was wrong. Not a very good website in my opinion and I will continue to drink raw milk.

What I'm trying to say is that most of the people who posted a comment on Bill Maher's video seem to lean to the left, which makes my point and also why I got a -1 on my previous comment. Those on the left (liberals) listen to and read articles by others on the left; just as those on the right (conservatives) listen to and read articles by others on the right. Having said that, I know many conservatives who also believe eating healthy organic foods and avoiding drugs is the way to go...but when Bill Maher or any other far left person points out the truth concerning how bad the food really is...he's only preaching to the choir. The general public isn't buying into it because most of the general public isn't hearing it from their health care providers or others they trust. Hospitals, doctors, nursing homes, dietitions, etc. these are the people who can make a difference... they can't all be in the pockets of the drug companies! If we really care about the health of the general public, why isn't more being done to get these people on our side? Complaining to each other and making jokes about it has zero results!

I'm "big time" into eating healthy organic food and staying as far away as possible from any and all drugs...but Bill Maher is the extreme secular, pc, lefty is there ever was one! Since 75% of the people in this country (me included) never listen to anything he says, I think someone who actaully has creditability would have a better chance educating the general public concerning this issue. I agree, Bill and Michael would make a great team...they are both "sicko's"!

Not only is the 'medical establishment' medicalizing society, intervening with drugs and highly sophisticated (outrageously expensive) diagnostic and treatment equipment when there should clearly be another approach, this has become a Medical Industrial Complex. They're actually, sometimes unwittingly robbing people of their autonomy, self respect, and innate ability to stay healthy.

They DO respond to hand written notes. Please never lose hope that your voice is not heard by the "elite" of our government. Meantime continue to fight for the right to your own health. Maybe Mercola & Supporters can become a new form of Move-on.org -- and push for candidates that "get it" about health. We could educate and inspire both incumbents and candidates -- form our own lobby -- ask Mercola's mailing list to send handwritten notes (they are VERY influential compared to emails) on a regular basis to targeted decision makers. Let's get this issue up in front of voters -- and therefore in front of more people who can benefit from attention to what REALLY provides health. Government funding should pay attention to and support the infrastructure for community based education for HEALTH as we understand it -- not insurance against medical costs!

Mr. Maher has a great deal of insight, be it health or the condition of our so called "Capitalistic Society." As one of many who frequent this website well know, the big businesses of this world have made a mockery of every aspect of this beacon of freedom called America. No more do we have a functional Democracy, it is government of, for, and by the dollar. The sad point is none of this is ever going to change. We are going to continue to slide into that abyss until we more closely resemble something like Nazi Germany. Heil Bush!
