Hopefully my vegetables will mean I will not need to supplement during my harvest!

I finally succeeded in persuading my husband to take supplements - one fish oil and one magnesium capsule daily after a health scare.

As the doctors did not refer him to an opthmologist even though I suspect Temporal arteritis - and the locum agreed - my husband was finally persuaded by the prospect of possible blindness or stroke. It has taken nearly 17 years to encourage him to finally take any supplements!

Transdermal absorption of magnesium chloride is a preferable alternative to the sulfate.

I now take it only once maybe twice a week and still feel great. If your on thyroid tablets it says you should take it 2 hours either side of taking your thyroxine. Also 20 years ago Zinc was another mineral that stopped my 10 year stint of bulimia in its tracks, was so amazing. A general Doctor told me I needed "will power" for my bulimia!!!!!! no mention of vitamins and minerals. I guess back then BigPharma didn't have the "will power tablet" for the Doctor to prescribe me.

magnesium supplements which typically take 6 weeks to take effect. I had

a lot of anxiety for most of my life & nothing worked. I took a simple foot bath

in MAGNESIUM CHLORIDE at night and it was gone the next day. Transdermal

delivery is second only to IV injection only cheaper. Google "Transdermal

Magnesium" and no, I don't sell it and yes, the effects will last at least 24 hrs

unlike Epsom salts. Magnesium supplements take 6 weeks and are prone

to cause diarrhea. Take them in small doses multiple times during the day.

however, I do not take calcium supplements & cal/ mag supplements

never did a damn thing either way. For heart conditions you might want to

do calcium with the MgCL2 which doesn't cure anything it just goes where

it's needed in the cells very fast.

My doctor, who is an expert in Mitral Valve Prolapse and Dysautonomia, recommends 500 mg of magnesium oxide to all of her patients. So don't immediately discount the oxide form!! It's cheap and easy to find. I get 200 tablets for about $6 at Walgreens. I take 500mg a day normally, and an extra 250 if I'm hurting more than usual.
