She began to just half pivot, first left then right. I guess that means I use both sides equally or can if I chose. I am a socialworker so I guess maybe I've learned to examine things more throughly.

Then for a second she will go clockwise then counter , clockwise, counter, counter, clockwise. It makes you a little dizzy. I thought it was just the dancer switching so I brought my niece up and she would say she was going counter while I saw her going clock wise.

A bit later I looked at the figure and it was going counter clockwise. Imagine that!

If I focus on the foot of the leg that is not in the air, it will turn anti-clockwise, while the leg IN the air will go clock-wise, but only for a second or so, and then she'll go anti-clockwise.

If I look at her as a whole WITHOUT looking at the foot, she will turn clock-wise.

Straaange indeed...

If you only look at this you can see that it doesnt go in a circle but flips left to right then back to left. When i uncovered it after seeing it go back towards the left it continued in that direction. Same thing with the image going back to the right.

According to what my brain wants to see Im left brain and I wouldve thought I was right brain. I hate everything in the left brain. Math, science, logic, practical, safe.....phhtttt!

I know a small percentage of the population is both equally right and left brained. I wish it wouldve given more information on being able to see both.

Then I read other comments and if you see her turning the other way, then you see her as lifting her left leg...

Then I wonder if right handed gymnasts see her as turning more clockwise because they typically take off and turn on their left leg, so they assume that her right leg is raised. And with this assumption, she is turning clockwise.

It keeps pausing at various points so I get to see that it's actually going counter clockwise. If the image was just switching from one side to the other I'd be able to see both ways with no problem. There are a lot of better tests out there including these two.
