I just thought I would clarify something Dr. Mercola said in the last sentence about CO2 being toxic. I understand why he said that, because that is the prevailing myth about CO2. Ok, if CO2 is so toxic, why is it that we can only live 30 seconds without it. We can live 4 minutes without O2. Also consider this little known fact: CO2 is what releases O2 from the hemoglobin, for use in the body. More commonly known is that O2 is stored and packed as single molecules in the hemoglobin of the red blood cell. Only CO2 can release that O2 for use by the body. Think about that. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I use resperations per minute, and breath hold as an indicator for low CO2, and when we get people breathing in a paper sack, and doing breathing exercises we watch CO2 and O2 come up at the same time. And when it&amp;#39;s low, both will show low. So this is something you can prove to yourself that what I&amp;#39;m saying is true. The body talks...&lt;/p&gt;
