When I read that, I unsubscribed from this rubbish website and put more emphasis on what I read here... the website survey put me at 32, my BC says I am 44, yet I always think and feel 23. We are only as old (or young) as we decide to be, day in, day out.

Sales of Tylenol must be down, so the marketing machines gotta put up such websites to induce the flock to go their way. how clever.

Thank you rigatoni, oneandforall, halcyon for your Natto related suggestions.

BTW, USANA as passed NSF Intl. certified supplement program also. USANA sponsors several US olympic sporting teams...

At a Korean store where I purchase the natto, there are four different brands-all from Japan- and I've tried them all. They come in three small styrofoam cartons in a package in the frozen food section. Also included are packets of mustard and fish sauce which I discard, as I'm a vegetarian. The natto is very, very 'gluey' and is tiny fermented soybeans. Never heat it as not to destroy the beneficial bacteria and other healthy things within. How I find it tolerable to eat...is this. First thing, let a packet thaw out for several hours before using it. When having either steamed vegetables, rice, beans and rice, quinoa, or pasta, I'll add the container of natto over these hot dishes and stir the natto around and then add any other sauces or seasonings. You can hardly taste it, and derive the health benefit from this fermented food.

I think I may retract my statement of trying it. I try to make everything that I purposefully consume a pleasant experience. This does not sound pleasant. Perhaps Kefir can be a good alternative. I love Kefir. I also like yogurt. The pictoral blog showed what it looks like when opened and I thought it looked like snot. If it smells as bad as it looks, I am not interested. I also wonder at its benefits if when eaten it affects your emotions in a negative manner. One should never eat at the time they are experiencing a negative emotional experience as whatever you are consuming does not metabolize in a useful manner. Your entire body, mind and spirit rejects it.

HE IS RIGHT ON! I am 58 years old, generally feel about 25 and have been involved in pursuing a healthy wellness ethic for about 35 years. I do not care how long I live! I will be glad to let my Lord take me home when it is my time. However, while I am here, I want as much quality of life as I can achieve. I do not deny myself anything that I truly enjoy and have found alternative methods of preparing food which are far healthier then any over prepared garbage that many feel they cannot live without. My juicer is my drugstore along with my herb garden, raw milk, kefir, yogurt, krill oil and codliver oil. I think I may try natto. I exercis every day and do Yoga. I used to teach Yoga. I use xyilitol and a small amount of local honey from bees who are not fed sugar when I absolutely need a sweetener and when I do grains, they are whole grains and organic. I minimize my grain consumption and totally enjoy vegetables in every form. I occasionally have a glass of wine. I count my blessings every day and am generally the crazy lady dancing on the table at every party. Conventional medincine is far to expensive and is only a bandaid on a gapping wound. Learn to take care of yourself and Mercola is blessing us with a tremendous research and application effort. Use the resource and appreciate it.

Hah, you can find it at Japanese markets and grocery stores, since it is a traditional japanese food. Uwajimaya sells it. Supplements would be ok, however foods are the best sources of vitamins. Isn't it weird how sometimes the best things for you taste bad?

I think you can get the benefits from other things, it's important NOT to lose sight of pleasure principle, people, because life is short and you gotta enjoy it, after all. A product that I use is Dr Ormans HGH plus. This is a herbal solution that feeds your pitutitary gland. As you all will know as we age our endocrine system produces less hormones. Dr Ormans hgh plus feeds the pitutitary gland helping to elevate the function of the endocrine system. For more info go to www.growingyoung.co.nz
