Never the less, I can see it becoming mandatory to receive a flu shot. Beginning with healthcare workers and ending at your workplace and mine. Get a flu shot or lose your job. Think me paranoid? Business owners up here in Canada are already lamenting the possibility of many, many employees being off sick because of this flu. They're convinced of it. What do you suppose their solution to this will be??

Thanks totally to the advice of the Mercola team, I have remained absolutely free of colds, and 'flu for the last 4 years, with no vaccinations, Relenza, or Tamiflu either!

I am a middle aged man, who has diabetes type 2, and as a result, a weakened immune system, and every year prior to then, I would consistently get colds and even the 'flu, despite being vaccinated in some years (probably a different strain than the ones covered by the vaccination).

Although Dr. Mercola mentions a few antiviral products above, several more, all sourced from Mercola.com are shown in section 62, on natural antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal products, at www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris should you wish to view them collated for you.

Alternatively, enter those topics in the searchbar here; list, and research them.

I note with interest that he recommends oil of oregano (ensure you get 100% pure oil, undiluted with vegetable oil).

My advice was that it is important to be very sure of the dose with essential oils, before using them, so I am keen to know if anyone here can advise a safe quantity.

I have a question for the group. Because I am a (USA) Federal employee, if mandatory vaccinations of any kind are ordered, my options will be: (1) refuse the shot and be fired from my job, probably forfeiting my retirement in the process; or (2) take the shot. My question is this: if I decide to accept the vaccination in order to protect my job, what can I do to mitigate its harmful effects? Would MMS do the trick? How about H2O2? Homeopathy? Any suggestions will be welcomed.

In the 1970's my mother, an RN, warned me against taking the swine flu vaccine. I could not refuse it as I was in the army. She told me to tell them I'm allergic to eggs. Just before I was to be swabbed and jabbed, the military doctor asked me if I had any allergies. I innocently said, "Just to eggs, sir. Not to any medications." He stamped my military medical charg "NO FLU SHOTS" and sent me on my way. I went to breakfast and had a nice cheese omelet in the mess hall!

The next day, over half of the 150 people in my unit were either hospitalized or sent back to the barracks with multiple symptoms: some flu-like, some vague, some with muscle weakness and several who had seizures. Methinks now that Mom was pretty smart!

The Great Swine Flu Pandemic never materialized. It hasn't materialized today either, yet we're putting Draconian measures into place to make sure that we can all be lined up at gun point to receive our vaccine to save our lives and that of the general public. If it ever does materialize, I'll stay home and take my herbal anti-virals and wait it out. Quarantine is still an effective tool if used correctly and a reverse quarantine can work just as well.

What will happen this fall? A lot of people will get sick with the flu and will recover with no ill effects. A few will tragically die, but not as many as will die or suffer long term problems from their swine flu vaccine.

Are there any islands for sale cheap? I think it's time to move.

We're slowly losing all of the rights and freedoms that our founding fathers fought so dearly for. Government and big industry interests are creeping into every corner of our lives. No one should be able to force a medical procedure on you or your family. Recent events about children being forced into chemotherapy, etc. are particularly disturbing. Whether we disagree with them or not, parents still have the rights to raise their children the way they see fit. If they are provided with adequate food, shelter and clothing and are not in an abusive environment, parents should be left to raise their children as they feel is appropriate. A parents religion, personal beliefs, education, etc. should have no factor on these rights. I have the right to raise my children Jewish and without vaccines, harmful chemical drugs and food preservatives. Likewise, my neighbor who is Hindu has the right to raise his children as vegetarians with a different belief system. While I personally do not believe that vegetarianism is healthy, I would never interfere with this parent's rights to raise his children in what he feels is a safe and appropriate environment.

When the government can step in and remove our rights "in the interest of public safety" I suddenly start hearing Nazi, Fascist and Communist propoganda and it becomes, "In the interest of State Security." We're not far from that kind of society. I can only hope that the general public wakes up and starts taking action against the political representatives that WE THE PEOPLE have elected. Vote them and their special interest groups out of office or one day we'll all be sitting around wondering "what happened?" as the drug police knock in our doors because we dared to use aloe vera for a burn or vitamin D to boost our immune systems.

Thank you Dr. Mercola for your amazing health information. I also appreciated the posted comments regarding Homeopathy and vaccines. Was it Dr. Mercola that mentioned that treatment with Homeopathy in France prevented many deaths from the Spanish Influenza. I just wanted to add that Colloidial Silver has apparently been very effective as well in treating Swine Flu. Sorry, I cannot recall the source, it may have been CBC radio. Thank you! Wash those hands. A simple tip: Coat the inside of the nose with Vaseline or Polysporin to protect this very vulnerable site from infection. Excellent when applied in air travel, where germ sharing is impossible to avoid.

I need help.

I just applied and got into physical therapist assistant school, and unbeknownst to me, they require a whole slew of vaccinations, most of which I don't have or I'm sure wouldn't be show enough immunity if a titer was performed.

I am tempted to just scrap the idea of going. I think in most hospitals they tell you what they want vaccine-wise, and no one dare question it. Am I right, and this is only the beginning of their vacination demands?

I've never had a flu shot and never will. I'm young enough and healthy enough to recover just fine. I rarely get sick, but I did get a flu a couple of years ago. It was horrible. I laid in bed for one week and then went back to work, but it took another week to feel back to normal. :-p My friend who took care of me did have the shot, and even though he was around me a lot during the time (he took care of me), he did not get sick. I'm glad he got the shot that year. I would have felt horrible to give it to him while he took care of me.

On a progam in Australia similar to 60 Minutes, there was a story about the dangers of the cervical cancer vaccine, including cases of death and nuerological damage. It was so exciting to see this in the mainstream media. The government's response was, the benefits outway the small number of possible side effects.

I had GBS as a 10 year old & at 37 it came back with a vengeance as Chronic Inflammatory Demylinating Polyneurapathy, my family thought they had lost me & I was going to meet my maker. I had a 3, 11 & 15 year old children at that time. I had the swine flu shot in school, we lined up & every student got it. As an adult I believe it was a combination for the relapse, pesticides sprayed across the street from my home in the high school football field, a tetanus shot & poor diet. I will not get this shot nor will my children or my parents, siblings. This is population control.

A word about mandatory vaccination. If that happens we will then see for sure one of the reasons why this pandemic is being orchestrated.

Here in Canada flu shots are offered for free and most people will go have one because they don't have to pay for it. So to counter that, every year Canadian homeopaths offer a free NATURAL vaccine, oral and homeopathic to all who would prefer to try that. What truly amazes me is that hundreds of billions of dollars are spent on vaccines that are NOT guaranteed to work; however, the profits are still granted. Wouldn't that be nice to sell products that cannot be proven to do as they say? Of course that is what they are doing, all the while, putting people in jail for saying there are natural ways to help fight illness.

How freaking preposterous and insane have we become to allow this to happen?

When the masses become informed and aware and sound alarms, the perpetrators pull back to make the alarmists looks foolish, or like 'conspiracy' promoters. It is hugely successful. Immensely successful tactics used by the quackery squads to crush all opposition.
